I recently began asking the illegal gambling operators on Westminster Bridge in central London for their gambling licenses, as part of a London Centric investigation into how the bridge had become a hub of illegal activity, despite being next to parliament and the Met police HQ.

Astonishingly it seems many of illegal gamblers seem in London are the same people fleecing tourists in Paris and other major European cities. When one area cracks down on them, they get shuffled. Read more:

An hour after this tweet the bridge was closed due to a stabbing, which the Met have said is not linked to terrorism: Some media outlets have been phoning about this due to my tweet: I was not there this morning and my piece was published on Friday.

How is illegal gambling taking place on (what should be) one of the country's most secure hotspots? I've seen this happening for years. Why isn’t the Met doing anything?

It's not gambling, it's a sleight of hand con. He removes the ball so that it's not under any of the cups. The "winners" in the crowd are part of the scam.
