I recently sat down with Mo Gawdat, former Google exec, and he believes the next 12-15 will be hell. This is what he had to say 👇🏾

It was a good episode, some of his predictions were spot on, but others where a bit overly optimistic. There is no scenario where his utopia becomes a reality.

The future has been proven to be notoriously hard to predict.

Insightful thoughts. How can we best navigate these upcoming challenges?

Greed. The elite will steal, kill and destroy like their father the devil.

Major caveat to Gawdat’s vision: Perceptual lensing at the event horizon; there’s a reason “Singularity” fits ASI perfectly. One paradigm remodel can flip the board overnight; utopia/dystopia hindsight is irrelevant in the face of first contact.

Hell for some and opportunity for others. It all comes down to adaptability

It's eye-opening to hear insights like these, especially from someone with Mo's experience. Preparedness is crucial as we navigate uncertain times. Staying adaptable can truly make a difference!

He’s a likeable character but seems incredibally naive about human nature and idealistic about history

Love, love Mo Gawdat - please have him on again! I could listen to him and his insights for hours ❤️

The Psychohistory Man 😀

Wait until you hear about climate change

Never forget: It all depends on the "bad actors", who place AI into charge. It is also about compliance. No war is natural. There is no fate. This is the strongest belief of my (non) religion.

未来值得期待

We are in the golden age of AI because right now it is a useful tool with few of the downsides that actual intelligence will bring.

Is this out

And this is in part why I’m long $PLTR

This guy relies on doom and gloom to get his views

Three phases of a father son relationship: idealize, demonize, humanize. Three phases of an AI to human relationship: idealize, demonize, humanize?
