I recorded a 16-min video on how I use Codex to prompt these insane Three.js and shader landing pages

So it's important to give superpowers to your harness: I open-sourced a bunch of web design skills: Full video: Resources: Higgsfield MCP: Canvas UI: Shaders:

I got inspired by your original post a couple of days back and built an animated visual for my app's hero section (using just React animation for now). Launched it yesterday and and CTA clicks are already up from ~3.5% -> ~16%! Maybe i should try 3JS next.

only way to stand out in a sea of ai slops.

the prompting is easy, cleaning up the glsl mess isn't

yep, but it's getting dangerously better at these things.

Meng, you're the light in the sea of AI slope!!!

Love it. Thank you for saying this.

I mean, it is genuinely not easy at all to infer some common sense of highly aesthetic interface to AI. It's even disturbing sometimes to think It has such power and yet, such a bad taste (for now)!!

Phew, for a second I thought this is my 3d tarot reading app :D nice video @MengTo

that looks awesome!

Thank you 😊

Goated vid

nice

That render-inspect-revise loop is key.

How much are you paying for Higgs field?

Costs about $1-2 per video at 1080p using Seedance. I'm on an Ultra plan.

10 x'd my approach to design. Thanks for sharing @MengTo !

Nice, i'd love an A-Z course bro!

working on it!

Wow, hope to try these soon

So cool to be able to just give a X url to Codex.

This looks technically impressive, ngl. But please please please don't build websites like this. They unnecessarily waste CPU/GPU cycles and slow everything down. A simple HTML page would work perfectly fine for docs.

I think if you focus on telling a story, the technologies are just tools. But I agree that there should always be accessibility options, like reduce motion and turn off effects.

Interesting Video and sincerely question: which screenshot recording product you used for this video? Looks pretty smooth!

I'm using

Thank You Meng I will try it!

let me know if you need a walkthrough. happy to do that

You are definitely a warm tutor!

i know it's hard to learn a new video editor. and it's bootstrapped. :)

Loving the trend towards back towards skeuomorphic. The level of detail is insane in those covers !!

Opus 5 being so good at threejs and shaders really help. we're in a golden era for creating.

Amazing Meng! Very simple, clean and solid spoken on your yt video! Also a great job connecting tools is easy! Thanks a lot for your explanation

The useful shift is that shader/Three.js work becomes reviewable in small loops. Ask for one motion, screenshot it, reject the ugly part, then iterate. Most failed AI landing pages start with one giant prompt for the whole hero scene.

Nice, bring 3D Three.JS Tech Stack to Web Page.

艺术大师!

Im impressed by the workflow, the Codex prompts cut down iteration time dramatically. Using shaders for landing pages looks slick but watch GPU budget for mobile. Story first, performance second

@grok summarize this video for me
