DREW AFUALO BUILT HER CAREER DEFENDING WOMEN. NOW WOMEN ARE BEING TOLD THEY’RE WRONG FOR DEFENDING THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE. If you don’t know Drew, she became a massive TikTok creator by roasting misogynistic men. Her brand was unapologetic feminism, and she eventually turned that audience into podcasts, a book and a much larger media career. Then a recent podcast clip blew up. Her guest said trans women have a more beautiful understanding of womanhood and described the programming of cis women as sad. Drew agreed. The conversation went on to contrast trans women’s beautiful, expansive understanding of womanhood with cis women focusing on things like sexual violence and the realities associated with being female. And women understandably said: HOLD ON. There is nothing hateful about acknowledging that biological women and trans women are different. That distinction matters precisely because women’s bodies have shaped our lives: puberty, periods, pregnancy, childbirth, reproductive health, physical vulnerability and the risk of sexual violence. Those experiences aren’t propaganda. They aren’t some inferior version of womanhood women need to unlearn. They’re reality. And this is where I think creators have done real damage. We have normalized the idea that simply acknowledging biological differences is somehow transphobic. So women are expected to carefully validate everyone else’s experience while increasingly being told that describing our OWN experience is exclusionary. You can treat transgender people with dignity and respect while still saying biological sex is real. Those positions are not contradictory. And Drew’s apology fell short for the same reason so many influencer apologies do: too much explaining the intent and not enough acknowledging what was actually said. If your entire career is built around calling out people who demean women, you should recognize it when women tell you they feel demeaned. Women should not have to erase themselves to prove they are compassionate.

The natural progression of women wanting to copy men is that British Vogue article. The crux of it is that women are jealous of other women being in relationships while they are not, and they use the masculine “boss babe” agenda to hide that fact. Make them believe the latter to deny the former. So it is the collective way for unsuccessful women to shame those who are successful in their personal lives. Women who are winning will then be influenced into believing that something is wrong with them. The single-female-friend-group self-sabotage is now operating on a grand scale through the networking effect of social media. Another example of the female self-stirring “shitshow” the more we give them a voice. The opposite is not true for men, as men are judged on their accomplishments first and foremost. If a man makes his whole or main identity being a husband, he is falling for the feminine value matrix through association in mating. This is how women are currently trying to frame men as accessories - as evidence of their own success, the same way men do with trophy wives. The copying here happens when women don’t want to come across as “less than” within a relationship, because we have entered a matriarchal and gynocratic society where the approval of other women outweighs the approval of the man they are with. This is further evidence of why “husband material” is an insult toward a man and an early sign of his future emasculation by her, in the same way women are being made to feel. Another effort of the mainstream is to eliminate any degree of polarity between the genders.

Day 4 of Unfiltered. Most people know that women, on average, live about five years longer than men. What’s less known is that this advantage disappears if you are a physician. A large study published this year showed that female physicians lose that mortality benefit, even compared with other high stress professions. There are many possible reasons. Psychological stress. The second shift at home. Bias in the workplace. Burnout. What matters is that people are finally studying it, because we cannot fix what we refuse to see. I wanted to share this for another reason. Over the last few decades, American healthcare has become harder and harder to survive in, and at the same time, more women are entering medicine. We are also seeing evidence that women physicians often achieve better patient outcomes in certain settings. That tells a powerful story about what women are giving to this profession. As a female physician who cares for women facing the hardest moments of their lives, I have never seen a force stronger than a woman protecting her people. I believe women in medicine will be a huge part of what ultimately helps fix healthcare. Losing a mortality advantage is not a story of weakness. It is a story of how deeply women are pouring themselves into this work because it matters. And still, we have to find another gear. We cannot destroy ourselves in the process of caring for others. If you know a female physician, encourage her. If you are in a position to support women in medicine, please do. We are at a real crisis point in healthcare, and this moment calls for both honesty and care. I see you. I am proud of you. And I am proud to stand among you.

Shame! Shame! Shame! My head bows down in embarrassment. Today, I feel ashamed because of the shameless women of my country. I call them shameless because they see themselves as mere sexual objects, not as human beings. They believe that if men look at them, they will jump in sexual excitement and pounce on them. By thinking this way, they have not only demeaned themselves but also insulted men. Iran is not too far from Bangladesh. Do these women not know that their fellow Muslim sisters in Iran are being forced to protest against the hijab? Because in that country, hijab is not a choice—it is compulsory! Hundreds of women have been imprisoned, beaten to death, or even shot simply for not wearing the hijab or for not wearing it "properly." And now, women in Iran are even facing the death penalty for not covering themselves. Iranian women are fighting to free themselves from the clutches of the hijab, yet instead of showing solidarity with those oppressed women, Bangladeshi women are willingly wrapping themselves in the same chains. When hijab becomes mandatory, these women will realize the terrible trap they have fallen into. Even if they want to take it off, they won’t be able to. Because removing it will mean facing death. The hijab they wear today out of choice will become unbearable torment tomorrow. Many say that women are the enemies of women. I usually don’t believe that. But seeing the women who marched in favor of hijab in Dhaka, I have no doubt that they are enemies of women. Feminists fought to advance women's rights, but these "burqa-clad" women have dragged that progress ten steps backward. In the battle between feminists and misogynists, these women have sided with the misogynists. Once upon a time, Dhaka University was a stronghold of women's liberation. Today, it is swarming with ignorant, religiously brainwashed, pathetic zombies from madrasas. Let us observe a minute of silence.

When I saw the video Madame President Julia Klöckner posted on her Instagram, I felt something deep. The music, “This Girl Is on Fire”, was the perfect choice. Yes, I am on fire.🔥 🔥 But I am not alone. Millions of girls and women from Iran to Afghanistan are on fire. And today, as one of the founders of the World Liberty Congress, I can say: millions of women across more than 60 authoritarian regimes are burning with the same fire for freedom. We are inviting our sisters in Brlin city of Freedom and our sisters in the free world to join us to bring down the walls of oppression, from Tehran to every capital where tyranny still stands. After delivering my speech, I was honored that Julia Klöckner, President of the German Bundestag, personally invited me to a private dinner to discuss the threats that Islamic regimes like the Islamic Republic and the Taliban pose, not only to women in Iran and Afghanistan, but also to public security here in Germany. For me, this is a powerful sign of change. There was a time when Feminist Foreign Policy of the previous administration hesitated to support my fight against Islamic Republic. But today, the new leadership of Germany stands firmly with us against authoritarian regimes. I am deeply honored that the President of the German Parliament is standing with our cause. And we will return to the Bundestag, this time with a full delegation of women from the World Liberty Congress. Stay tuned. We are the women the dictators tried to break wounded, but never bowed. And now, together, we are building a united front. This fire they feared is only growing stronger. Will you stand with the women fighting for liberty, or with the regimes that crush it? The decision is simple. Choose us. because we are the force of joy, courage, and freedom. 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

Women are becoming feminists because young men embody a r*tarded masculinity. -- N.D. Wilson Again, in blaming young men (in part at least) we are completely missing the responsibility of Christian women to hold themselves to Biblical standards. We’re letting their fathers get away with disgruntled and poorly managed households. Culpability is not on the 17–30-year-old man who has acted “r*tardedly,” and by that, I assume he means “toxic masculinity” (vis-à-vis Andrew Tate). It’s on you, father; you, Christian lady; and you, pastor, to raise young women in the admonition of the Lord. The constant blame shifting is so obtuse, so lazy, so obviously wrong in every other sin scenario with the exception of this one. Men rush to make defense of sinful women, particularly young women, even otherwise conservative men. Perhaps men act this way because women, fathers, the church, society has gone so awry that this is the response? N.D. is not wrong. Women become feminists because men to live up to true masculinity. But men don't live up to true masculinity because their fathers, the church, and society has failed them. The benefits of embodying true masculinity are slim. It's disincentivized in every area of life. (John Doyle's video on this and Andrew Tate was fantastic (link below)) So while all of these things seem true, in keeping with N.D. Wilson' line of thinking the obvious solution is to ignore the reasons. The only reason for any of our problems is man's fallen nature and sin. So we should instead encourage people to stop making excuses and start making progress toward goodness and godliness. Call out their sin, whether sinful masculinity or sinful femininity, focusing on the true reason for the sin—which is their own deceitfulness and lying heart—and the cure, which is Christ and a biblically structured approach. This line of talk is rarely useful especially when not counter-balanced with admonishing whoever we're making de facto excuses for with their own responsibility.

I often have women messaging me to ask if there is a cut off age for taking HRT, or to ask what age they need to stop HRT. The answer is that there is usually no set length of time you should take HRT for - the menopause is a long-term hormone deficiency so women can usually take HRT forever to replace these missing hormones. However, after the Women’s Health Initiative Study was published in 2002, many women have resisted taking HRT, especially after age 65 years, because of fears of perceived risks. However, a new study has been published today showing that these fears are unfounded. The study also showed that women who took oestrogen only HRT beyond the age of 65 was associated with significant risk reductions in mortality, breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, congestive heart failure, venous thromboembolism, atrial fibrillation, acute myocardial infarction, and dementia. There were also benefits to future health in women who took combination oestrogen and progesterone. The most benefit was with transdermal oestradiol and progesterone. If you haven’t yet read the study, I would really recommend you do. The link is here: It’s also worth listening to this podcast I recorded with Dr Anna Chiles who is a GP and works with us at Newson Health as a menopause specialist, as we talk more about continuing HRT for many years during that: This article we have on our @balancemenopause website is also worth a read:
