I remember being kinda sad for Bradford when he got mutated again… until I saw that BADASS design he’d end up having

lets be honest him getting double mutated was definitely a makeover. I feel even the crew felt the same

Oh yeah the crew has stated that they didn’t like dogpound’s design and initially planned to kill him off before opting to just double mutate him.

"I felt sad seeing his flesh get melted in radioactive acid but then I saw that he has aura now"

That’s a better way of wording it lol!!

i like how his mutation made him more animal-like. even when fighting, you can tell bradford took more advantage of his animalistic traits as opposed to trying to adapt to using martial arts in his mutant form.

Besides what happens with the cult stuff later he seemed pretty happy with his life

I can't with Mikey, he's hearing him scream with agony and makes that joke like he's James Bond or something 😭

I have no proof nor have I actually researched it, but I genuinely like to believe that they mutated him twice because the dog pound toys didn't sell well so they gave him a more kickass design.

Funny enough, I actually had 2 Dogpound toys as a kid… I guess I had them both because they were always in stock lol.

I actually had one too along with the fishface one, though admittedly I think all the toys where a tad generic, just basic articulation with no gimmick. but hey that's what childhood imagination is for.

I kinda got sad when he died. It felt so anticlimactic to such a cool character

You know, I just realized; he made prolonged physical contact with Mikey right before falling in. Shouldn't that have made his mutation more turtle-hybrid based, given how Mutagen works in TMNT?

I wonder what the other mutants would look like if they mutated even further?

Due to his loyalty to Shredder and the Foot Clan, Chris Bradford lost his good looks and humanity upon becoming a mutant; his new form as Rahzar is so hideous and repulsive that it makes it impossible for him to appear on television again as a famous actor and martial artist.

Back then I watched it on TV like without streaming services. So you miss an episode you fucked. Anyway, basically I missed the episode of him being mutated and kept wondering "did they fucking sacrifice dogpound? Who's this bone wolf motherfucker"

He had one of the best redesigns of the show. He’s one of my favorite of the 2012 villains.

I always hated the fact that Fishface never got double mutated. If anybody needed that it was him. He is practically useless without his robotic accessories

Poor Bradford never catches a break, but honestly the glow-up was worth the extra mutation-he finally matches that chaotic energy

Damn. mickey didn’t even try to save him

It was sick, but I was never a fan of the new name.

I didn't realize Bradford got mutated twice before Baxter got turned himself.

The fact that this is Razar just makes it lame. THAT is not Razar.

I remember it always bummed me out as a kid that they only explored the concept of double mutation like a handful of times, it seems like such a cool concept that you could get some insane designs out of

So Bradford turned into Dogpound after being bitten by a dog before being doused in mutagen; what exactly caused Dogpound to transform into Rahzar exactly besides swimming in mutagen?

Dogpound's design is cool but Rahzar's design is so badass because of his lanky proportions and the skeleton motif. (Also, I'm taking commissions if your interested. It's pinned to my profile.)

I didn’t feel bad for him at all, he A. Deserved it and B. Really liked the change because he got to feel like a ninja again.

"I remember being kinda sad for Bradford" I didn't, he 100% deserve it

To be honest who even liked the first mutant form of dog pound? He looked so weird and off, then he got that much needed makeover and looked creepy and cool as fuck dude being a wolf like bone mutant fits him so well too

I used to think that the mutagen actually killed him and he's a corpse. That is until the whole ordeal with Kavaxas in season 5

I love 2012 turtles. BUT one thing I always hated was how they'd spend a whole episode struggling to defeat a mutant.. and then the next time they see them they just breeze past em like nothing

When your starter evolves out of that awkward middle stage

Seeing this for the first time complete with him thanking Mikey felt like nightmare fuel he looks so scary

Honestly, the man’s fate in this show is genuine, nightmare fuel. He ends a fucking drowning, getting revived, and then dying again.

Only double mutation in the series.

Wow…. That’s nightmare fuel

I fell like that if this show wasn't for nick he's new would've been hellhound

This version of Razar looks like a goddammed Wendigo

Except Razar was a bum lol. Took a backseat the entire time even with the double mutation

bradford got peak during that time, ngl
