I remember seeing an interview in which balaji talked about how to overthrow an existing state it's in to build a new one using his philosophy. Then another one about having acquired an island to realize his philosophy. I couldn't find them. Anyways. I searched 'network school' in IG.... Loads of videos turned up. A lot of them are promotional or endorsements. This is one of them. Whatever it said was not addressed or refuted from the NS side. Also some of you will recognise some of the speakers shown in the video. The thing is what they have put together here is very impressive. A real commune to share ideas. Just too bad the ultimate goal of the main idea do not align with Malaysia.show more

If you thought the still was bad here's an abridge version of his rant. There's a lot to get aggravated about in the word today, the extradition from the USA of two men suspected of multiple rapes is not one of them. Gormless Jimmy needs a review of his meds.

One person is in critical condition at an area hospital after a shooting in the parking lot of the Village Crossing Apartments, 2324 E. Willow Drive in Olathe. This is about three blocks south of Santa Fe Street along the west side of Mur-Len Road. It was dispatched as an armed disturbance at 7:55 p.m. Police appeared to have one person detained in the back of a police vehicle when I arrived. An officer was able to tell me that they are not currently looking for anyone. Updates as I have them.

🗣️ Ian Poulter on his McLaren irons QUESTION: "Obviously there's been a lot of focus on the McLaren irons. Have they made that much of a difference right away? How would you categorize it?" POULTER: "Yeah, I put them in the bag, and obviously we knew when the launch was going to be, so I had a few weeks to dial them in. Having a couple of weeks and really spending some good time with them to fine tune them exactly how I want them, it wasn't an issue putting them straight in the bag. I felt they looked better, turf interaction was better, the divots were better, ball flight was better, so it's a pretty easy switch to be able to put them in the bag" QUESTION: "Is it more of a mental thing in terms of confidence, or is it a balance of physical and mental in terms of the gains that you get from those kind of clubs?" POULTER: "Yeah, it's 5-iron to 9-iron in series one. I think the first thing you have to do is really like what you're looking at. The engineers and the design team have made a really good-looking golf club. When I put it down, it's already pleasing on the eye, so it gives you a good feeling when you stand over the ball. They perform very well. I've had no issues at all with them" "Yeah, I'm enjoying having them in the bag" #LIVGolfKorea | Majesticks Golf Club

Hermes actually is the real deal. I just dropped a one hour course on it. All the way from setting one up to understanding how to build an army of them. Give this a read.

Osimhen criticizing his teammates: “I think some of them are kind of timid and I try to motivate them and do the best I can. I cannot do it alone. I try to motivate them. Some of them... You know it's normal. This is football. I think some of them are kind of scared with the crowd and of course the way Juventus are playing. I know this team. When you try to lay back and let them play, they are gonna do damage to you. They even play better with the red card than when they have eleven. For me, we have a lot to improve on. When I try to speak, some of them tend not to listen. I just keep it going.”

🚨ELON MUSK: "I thought Marxism was a dead philosophy but its alive and well in our educational institutions. Part of it is that you have a lot of colleges with these giant endowments that insulate them from reality. So you can have this fake Communist Utopia at a university because they don't have any feedback loop to reality because they have these giant endowments (and government funding too), so that allows them to be disconnected from the realities of the free market. They take advantage of the free market, but they live in a pseudo communist world. How often do we need to run the Communism experiment? It should be very obvious that the economic philosophy that is the good one is the one that does not need to build walls to keep people IN. North Korea builds walls to keep people in. East Germany had to build walls to keep people from going to West Germany. The philosophy that has to build walls to keep people in, is the bad one. And yet you see a resurgence of it, over and over again."

🎙️Lando Norris about always staying true to himself: (If you have a moment, whether you like him or not, listen to this. It might be one of his best and most genuine answers) "I'm happy I won it my way" "I got the most out of what I am" "I know I've said some things about Max, Lewis. Some things I regret and I wish I could take back" "Do I regret some of the things I've said? Yes. A lot of them were in the heat of the moment" "Deep down I hate when you write crap about me? I do. It's also life and I've learnt to live with that" "I won it in my way. Try to be a good person, a good team member. I'm proud about that. No matter what other people write about it. No one knows the truth apart from the people on the inside in terms of what's going on" "As long as I know I've done a good job then that's the only thing I need to listen to"

You know the thing with random rewards? The thing is that you never get what you want, right? And everyone is hoping for Manga Kenji Skin now... but is it really everyone? What does your heart most desire? If you look back at your life journey, are you where you wanted to be? And if not, why not? What changes would you have made in your life to be happy with yourself? Because this is what really matters. Your reaction to this reward is only a reflection of how deeply you feel inside, isn't it? Is the reward good? Is the reward bad? Isn't that only a matter of perspective? ANYWAY, enough talking, let's finally announce the reward you will receive today, after you watch this video, and after you read this text... But, what is the point of having the reward written here in this text, if it's also announced in the video AND announced in the game... isn't all of this pointless? What does it matter what door you open in the end, right? Some of them have hints, some of them don't, it's pretty much random. OR IS IT? The Mega Box door was pretty obvious, wasn't it? I guess some of them DO have hints, and some of them don't. We did say that in the video actually... the trick is to find out which ones are misleading and which ones are not. To be honest, the plain white door wasn't designed with Manga Kenji in mind... you were the ones who came up with your own theory and when it didn't land, you thought we fooled you, but in reality, you fooled yourself. But one thing I can say, we've seen a lot of crazy theories out there, and some of them are actually right, surprisingly. Maybe an accident, maybe whoever came up with that theory is a future version of me. It can happen, I read it in a book once. Or maybe not. ANYWAY, hope you have enjoyed today's reward, and let's bring the community together to vote for the best door today! #ScaryDoors

The one thing you can do to make any kind of writing memorable is to make it more visual. Steven Pinker explains why: "Language is a means to an end of getting people to appreciate what the ideas you're trying to convey are, which are not just a string of verbiage. And those ideas very often are visual." "Allowing your reader to be able to form a mental image based on what you're writing is the next key to good writing." "Don't talk about a level or a perspective or a framework or a paradigm or a concept, all of which mean a lot to you in your day-to-day work, but no one can form an image of a paradigm in their mind's eye."

🚨 JUST IN: Senate Leader John Thune says he will FORCE a vote on the SAVE America Act, but he can NOT guarantee it will pass because that needs 60 votes "That debate will happen. But like I said, I can guarantee the debate. I can guarantee a vote. I just can't guarantee an outcome." "There are a lot of optimistic views about what Democrats may or may not do. We all know, because we deal with them every day, that the Democrats are not all of a sudden going to decide that this is something they want to be for." "I think you have a lot of optimists out there, and I appreciate that, and a lot of passion and energy behind getting an outcome here." "But getting an outcome would require Democrat votes." "And, you know, we'll give them a chance. Like I said, they'll have that opportunity to vote one way or the other on this. But I would be very, very surprised."

This hack actually works, if you go near the end of the store hours before close and ask the shop if they have any mistakes you can have or buy, most of the time they will give them to you. The only thing I would keep in mind is that allot of the time, the less fortunate people usually do this. Back in high school, when I worked at a pizza shop, we always had some people down on their luck people hoping to get a cheap pizza or a free one, many of the times I wouldn’t actually give it to them. I didn’t care, the money didn’t come out of my pocket so I just made them a fresh one, was I wrong for this or would you do that too?

When given the opportunity to sit down with President Trump, Axios tells him they "like to do one big thing, and so the one big thing we want to talk about is power...how you think about it and how you wield it." Reporter: "What is the one big thing you've learned about wielding power?" Trump: "I think you have to do it judiciously. I think that experience is good. I always say that potential is far more important; in other words, having ability is far more important than experience, but having both is very good. And I learned a lot during the first administration...and somebody said the other day that this is a far more powerful administration, or term, than the first one...I feel it's a more powerful term than the first one. Now, that comes with experience; it also comes with having somebody precede you who's a disaster. I mean, the man was a disaster...I feel it's a very powerful administration right now." Reporter: "You mentioned the G7, you saw a number of world leaders. You walked in and you said, 'I'm the boss.' How many of them believed that?" Trump: "All of them. But I was just being funny...You know that was done as a joke...I was just being cute, funny. I wasn't trying to be the boss."
