I remember the first time I tried licorice root as well. I wasn’t expecting something that resembled an actual twig or a stick. The root was extremely hard and woody, like chewing on wood a tree branch. What everyone should know is that we aren’t supposed to actually eat... it. You suck on it or chew it, this moistens the root and releases the flavor, like sugar cane. This woman got it not knowing how to eat it, she looks confused, like they gave her the wrong stuff. I feel that while it’s a great experience to try new things, however I feel it’s also equally important to research the proper way to enjoy it if you don’t know what you are getting yourself into or you may find yourself having a bad time like this lady, have you ever tried this, did you eat it the right way?show more

I’ve been following this phenomenon for a while. I have no idea what to make of it but when you see the sky get that black at 3:30 in the afternoon on a sunny day AND you hear what sounds like loud trumpets in the sky…It means something.. I’m not sure what. I don’t know if it’s biblical or if it’s something our government is doing, but I know what it sounds like to me . It’s been happening all over the world . I’d love to hear your opinions on this.

I’ve been following this phenomenon for a while. I didn’t know what to do next. 🎤: Ahh 🌛: Like for the next project, what should I do, or… what should I choose. 🎤: Mhm it’s like feeling kinda lost and confused? 🌛: Yeah, yeah I was confused. I didn’t know what I should do next with my life… 🎤: Which a lot of people go through too, like after graduating, sometimes you’re just unsure about things, right? 🌛: But… well you just have to get through it. Everyone has to go through it by themselves. Because everything we learn, it… teaches us, it makes us a better person, like today. 🎤: And back then for Mark, did you find a new goal? "But I think that it's cool to experience it just like when I read the comic book for the first time and I didn't know. No one was telling me what it's about or the why of it. You come to it fresh. And sometimes I wish I had that experience because I would love to see the movie or read the book for the first time again because that feeling was for me awesome. "Especially when you go into something with this anticipation that it's just a Hollywood superhero movie which is what a lot of people will think because they don't know. They see some guys fighting and then when you see the film you actually have this experience of it being taken apart. "Those archetypes, those mythological shapes, whether they be Batman or Superman or any of superheroes and how they're just turned around. Whether it's through sexual fetish or fighting, actually killing guys they fight. "Stuff like that or whether it's the end of the movie and there's this moral dilemma that is the end of the movie is also challenging on all those levels."

I mean like adjusting yourself to feel that way 🦊: How to tune into the characters right? 🎤: That’s right, to become the characters. Was it hard, given that you guys are really close to each other? But then in the end, I though that, well we both want the best for each other, and we’re friends. So why make a fuss? We can just love each other like normal. It’s just the unfamiliarity at the very beginning, like a change of sort, because we’ve never done that before, it’s something new to both of us. So I think it’s not strange for us to feel nervous and anxious at the beginning 🎤: So being in characters help leading the way too. I mean like adjusting yourself to feel that way 🦊: How to tune into the characters right? 🎤: That’s right, to become the characters. Was it hard, given that you guys are really close to each other? Was it hard to break down that barrier? 🍅: It was hard in the beginning 🦊: I thought it was hard too 🍅: I remembered playing with Force for the very first time, our kiss scene 🎤: How did you feel? 🍅: So we kissed and as soon as it was over, we each sat in our own corner like this 🦊: Blanking out 🍅: And it took us 5 days to finally reconvene and talk about it and it went something like “Force, that day I felt like that.” I went home and sat… 🎤: Reflecting on yourself? 🍅: Yep reflecting on myself, and Force was like that too 🦊: Yep I did the same thing 🍅: Which I still think is so funny up until now 🦊: Yep, I can still remember that day, after filming the kiss scene and all, I went home and stared at the ceiling like this… 🎤: 555 Like it was eye opening to you? 🍅: Book was sitting like this… hugging his knees thinking like “Hmmm… So what was that?” 5555 🦊: Ive been living for 24 years and I just kissed a boy, something like that. I’ll admit that, I came prepared for work. I mean like, I came prepared both mentally and physically, knowing this was the work that I was supposed to do. But then when I came to the real set and did it for real for real, it was a kind of feeling that got stuck behind. So I kept thinking about it nonstop. But then in the end, I though that, well we both want the best for each other, and we’re friends. So why make a fuss? We can just love each other like normal. It’s just the unfamiliarity at the very beginning, like a change of sort, because we’ve never done that before, it’s something new to both of us. So I think it’s not strange for us to feel nervous and anxious at the beginning 🎤: So being in characters help leading the way too. But its just that first sense of actual physical contact that might have had you taken aback, just a bit, just because it was eye-opening to both of you 🦊🍅: It was our first time too 🎤: Yep that’s true. I was just curious because I feel like if it was 2 strangers coming in not knowing anything about each other, maybe it would be easier 🍅: Yep it might be easier 🎤: Yep, like for me, if you were to tell me to do GL with my friends right now 🍅: It might take you a while too 🎤: Yep, I might need quite some time to tune into it, so I just wanted to know how it was like for both of you 🍅: It was like that for us too

Whenever I feel there might be a conflict, or if the neighbor likes to be difficult I will always get a survey first before even saying anything. Once that’s in hand I will then let them know I am planning a fence or doing something else. I feel that way they can’t argue with the facts but sometimes they like to anyways. This woman knows the fence isn’t on her property and even avoids it by a few feet. Yet she starts removing the fence as it’s being built, would you stand for this? How do you stop someone who won’t respect the lines? I think the best way is to document everything with paperwork and video. Install a camera so there is proof they are doing what they are doing. I always try to cover my end that’s why I always have cameras everywhere. I never know when I might need it. If I end up in court then it’s no longer here say with evidence. I try to avoid confrontation as much as I can but sometimes it’s unavoidable. I’ve always lived life the way I see fit and I try to always do the right thing. I refuse to let others dictate how I do things especially if my way is proven to be effective. Dealing with stubborn neighbors can be drab but eventually it will work out, it’s the time in between that’s frustrating. The last time I did the fence. The neighbor at first tried to didn’t like the idea she would have a fence on one side of her driveway in case she opened the door and hit it. I explained to her that sometimes there may be kids playing and that I didn’t want a stray toy or ball to hit her house or car. At the end of the day she was reasonable and didn’t give me a hard time from that point on. But I think about how it could have gone awry like how this lady wouldn’t listen to reason.

Revamp Space Translation (11/10/2025) Barcode: Thank you to P’AloneNew for inviting me to be part of this project. I feel really good. This is actually my first project with GMMTV, and I’m very happy — it’s been a genuine and very positive experience. Speaking of Ciar, it’s a really challenging role. Because he’s a vampire, it’s not something that reflects real life, so I couldn’t draw from real-life character traits. It’s like being in a novel — I had to explore and figure out what he’s like, which was a lot of fun. Getting to discover this character was both challenging and fulfilling every time I worked. Thank you so much — I feel really good about it. 👏 ========= Prem: I have a question for Barcode. I want to know — when you were playing the role, did you have a core principle or something you held onto? ========== P’AloneNew: Like, something he grounded himself on? ========== Prem: Yeah, because the character Ciar is quite extreme. So did you have a core idea or mindset going into a scene — like, “I am Ciar, so if I do this, it makes sense”? Something like that? ========== Barcode: Honestly, it was more about doing my homework. There wasn’t a fixed core or anything like that. But once I got to know the character deeply enough, I could just play him naturally. I didn’t have to consciously think like, “If I’m Ciar, I need to be cool, have a low voice.” It wasn’t about that. It’s more about what’s inside the character — what he’s been through, what happened in the previous scenes, what his backstory is, what just happened before coming into this scene, and how that made him feel. That’s a fundamental part of the acting craft. ========== Prem: So, Code, you place a lot of importance on preparation and studying the character before filming, right? ========== Barcode: Absolutely. I give it a lot of importance. I feel like the process of preparation is like 80:20. Everything we show on screen mostly comes from what we’ve done behind the scenes.
