I remember watching Michael Jackson’s “Ghosts” performance as a kid and it genuinely scared me. This is my first time rewatching it in years, and I’m amazed at how much effort he put into his craft .

People think him being the best to ever do it just the music, everything he touches is genius

That’s not CGI he can just do that

saw this at home by myself at 8 years old and it was raining and night time. This scared the shit out of me for some fucking reason lmao This was MJ best acting performance to even playing the old white guy.

Dude that is pure 90's, inject that into my veins!

He was a great actor, definitely deserved to get more roles outside of his own productions.

I don’t know why Michael, like horror so much I remember hiding behind the chair when I watch this 😭

Even crazier that he played two parts and acted against himself.

@WESTSIDEJC_ The wildest part was when I recognized Mos Def in the crowd the first time

The acting was phenomenal, bro was really unhinged.

Hollywood lucky Mike never went fully in on Hollywood and acting because some people and movies might not have won some Oscar’s!!

I noticed when he plays the man in the suit he was making fun of himself , saying freak , weirdo , wacko . A lil self reflection goin on

Michael was a perfectionist. The effort and attention to detail he put into his performances set him apart from other entertainers. When I was a kid, we had a DVD compilation of his videos and performances. I really enjoyed watching his music videos and shows.

How old were you when you found out that Michael also played the man in the suit

Man used 1 video for 2 songs😫 (2 bad & ghost) genius

Ohhh I love the Ghost dance movie maneee I literally use to watch this a lot

Michael played the man in suit character and still played himself. Man was ahead of time.

Michael Jackson also financed this short film himself and premiered it at the Cannes Film Festival 🐐

Thriller was ended here

It’s even deeper than that. The character reference of the mayor To the sheriff involved in the murder investigation of Emmett Tills death is chillingly accurate.

@Munachim_ Video was created ahead of its time. The video beats 98% of the music videos being produced in 2026.

"The underlying message of this film – to be more accepting of others and not judge people based on their outward appearances - is also still a timely message for today." - Michael Jackson Facebook I wish MJ's estate just kept it up or released it.

Holy fuck I forgot this existed

Incase you need d song

I would’ve liked to see Michael play different roles in a lot of movies. The talent was amazing

Scary at first but interesting later

The first time I watched this video That's when I now believe people who says Michael Jackson is an illuminati. This is more than a horror

it’s still scary ash & this was a whole short film😭 he was the man in the glasses too

Ghost scared yall? I’m terrified of thriller still

Bro is the definition of MASTERPIECE

He should’ve been an actor

He could just do everything! an all rounder. Very rare, but we all knew he was special

I used to think he actually had that scary part like he had it fr lol

I had this on vhs as a kid, watched it again last nite and forgot how good it was. The beats with the ghosts using their feet etc, the music,CGI all amazing. Forgot about the one dude crying aswell. Cracked me up

Lmao i swear i remember one Halloween when i was a shorty they played it on bet like 05-06 i kid you not i didn’t know it was made in 96 til about 3 years ago 😭😭😭 i thought it was brand new
