I flew 55 combat missions over Baghdad defending the freedoms we too often take for granted. And here’s what I learned in combat: Freedom is not automatic. Every generation has to earn it. I was especially gratified that Trump was sitting a mere 6 feet away from me, and I hope he was schooled in the importance of birthright citizenship. I am confident that we will win this case and that the future of this country will be determined by our Constitution and not by the whim of a president who wishes to wipe away hundreds of years of precedent.

This was not anger, violence or hatred, but a deep expression of the youth of this country, of the future generation of this country. But I also think he was perhaps envious of it. I will also say that this was the first step, not the last step. There’s more work for us to do here in the coming days and weeks because there’s a lot more to find out in terms of who made money off these deals.

I remember watching the premiere of “Beware the Batman” where he breaks his shoulder and relocates it by slamming it into a truck. Then ep 2 was delayed, and when they re-aired episode one all the guns were replaced with lasers and the shoulder break was cut out. Disappointing!
