First, if you back up, he is looking in the direction of the entire bloodline when he says “you don’t understand that because you’re spoiled, entitled little crybaby bitches”. The Rock’s career is at a crossroads- I really believe that. My difficulty with The Rock is that he makes questionable creative decisions. I think he can act. Do I think he’s Laurence Olivier? Be serious. But the scripts The Rock picks & the films he chooses to make haven’t made a lot of sense. I loved The Smashing Machine but now a live-action Moana followed by another Jumanji? The Rock’s filmography isn’t as strong as it should be at this stage of his career. I question if it will improve.
