I rly hope this combat gets better fast

unfortunately magic builds are the only straightforward way to deal real damage for like 70% of the game until crit builds are possible

I bought a magic keyblade and slotted triple cast

absolute best damage for some of the tankiest enemies for awhile is getting freeze procs with either blizzard spells or the Freeze Block panel followed by fire and itll deal like 2 full health bars of damage

that does sound funnn tysm

a lot of the fun things in this game are sadly locked to mission mode and/or challenge sigil unlocks, but if you go out of your way to get just 10 challenge sigils (15 if you want the joke keyblade) you can get one of the haste panels for higher movespeed

I love 358/2 Days story to death but yeah the combat can be a bit rough... It deserved the remake treatment the most imo, but somehow that went to Chain of Memories instead, which is funny considering OG still plays better than the remake version LOL

Let me give you 1 piece of advice. Fire. That's it. Magic in this game is broken and level 5 fire is almost all you need. And guard. Those plants attacks can be guarded and sent back to them. Guard is broken as you can just hold it

Melee combat in this one isn't too great. But if you go magic crazy.. its broken.

sorry, best we can do is the shitty combat makes the cutscenes feel like they're earned after a shitty day at work.

I love all of days, but uh yeah you will be waiting a lot before getting some abilities... just remember everything is usefull in the gam

Sadly no it's not gonna get much better some say it is apart of the narrative. Side not if you play recoded it's exact opposite of days story is nearly a waste of time but gameplay outside of the bosses is the second best in the franchise for many

I just played 358 for the first time and I felt like I was ALWAYS chasing enemies so fights would take forever bc I’m missing the first couple attacks. Love the game but Re:coded had smoother combat

You did really well with what you had available with this mission, you used the block button Magic Builds are the best but if you like combos there's keyblades for that too available later. For now you gotta tough it out with a more early KH1 style of combo game

I have no idea how this game managed to evade getting the same reputation as birth by sleep considering the combat is even worse. Love the org's workplace politics and the trios journey very much, but I do think this has the worst gameplay in the series

You must keep in the back of your mind at all times that this was released for the DS

You play this game for the story not the gameplay unfortunately

You just mash Max level fire until the final boss where you swap to a crit build

Do not expect this game to play like the other ones, drop this shit if you're not enjoying it.

If anythign i want this game to be completely remastered. I think it would be really cool and they can bring back the multiplayer back as well. They can also bring other characters in the game as extras to olay as just like they did with sora donald and goofy. 😁
