I sat down and played World of Warcraft Forever on a controller! I'm actually so happy that this won't require an addon, hope we get the same in retail 😁

@Warcraft When we were developing controller I shared with the team your unfortunate Ragnaros Hc experience. Even with the sad ending it was so impressive.

@Warcraft Thanks for covering this in depth, this feature is so great for accessibility! I don't think people realize how many more people will be able to play now because of this feature. I myself am struggling with accessibility and this made me feel like ill never lose wow as i thought.

@Warcraft This looks like a no brainer for casual gaming sessions. It looks incredibly smooth and honestly if your not typing it looks like a great way to play.

@Warcraft This looks great! Blizzard should add a voice-to-text trigger option for when you have the chat box open. Presumably some people opting for a controller will be streaming their desktop to a TV and/or won't have a keyboard to hand, but may still need to respond.

@Warcraft Retail has native controller support since shadowlands, just the mods have helped make it a little more FFXIV like with the UI.

@Warcraft Controller and keyboard could never coexist in a competitive game because a controller could never keep up with a keyboard. Only people happy about this are the ones who don’t actually play the game but instead run around collecting all the pets, transmogs, etc. useless stuff

@Warcraft With WoW finally getting official controller support. Console Ports are definitely a possibility now. Meaning bringing the game to Xbox, maybe PS5 and Switch 2 as well!

@Warcraft That's a first. Never have I seen a MMO, especially Warcraft would be played on a controller. Perhaps this is a test to see if it can applied to the rest of WOW ( Retail and Classic). That rumor of WOW coming to X-Box might be realized someday....

@Warcraft I healed a 40 man using the addon, so the main idea is using dpad to scroll through all members. The best way to do that is to adding you to certain groups, for example group 1 and group 2. We normally already split healing roles that way, so it comes quite natural ☺️

@Warcraft Interesting; I still think targetting is going to be the bottleneck of -make or break- for me if I decide to give WoWF a shot, but at the very least they are trying to make it work For trying controller that is. Hope for the best; be prepared for the worst.
