Liberty has one of the best Mid Major prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft in 6’7 Senior Point Forward Zach Cleveland. Cleveland has been one of the most versatile players in the country this season averaging 11/8/7 along with 1.6 blocks and 1.4 steals a game. He’s also shooting 61% from the field. Cleveland’s mix of playmaking , athleticism, defense, and finishing at 6’7 gives him a unique mix of versatility and he uses that to his advantage on both ends. Defenders like Shane Battier were All Defense level players with great length and defensive ability. Ron Artest as well. The paint is packed. And there isn’t 2-4 players on the court at all times that will jack up a 3 so the perimeter and the paint is all packed. You have to be elite. You have to be the BEST to score on this. You have to be an elite shooter that can be effective in a small space. That can make a shot with a hand in the face. That can shoot off angles and off balance. Can’t you see? I give Jordan the edge because of his freakish athletic ability. But this man Kobe Bryant mastered the skill of the game. When players like Reggie Miller says that Kobe was Jordan but took it to another level because of Kobe’s jump shooting, THIS IS WHAT HE WAS REFERRING TO.

Just got in the car on the way to Belton, South Carolina, for an afternoon of shooting at the Belton Gun Club. Why do we treat the Second Amendment different from the First? If you can carry in one state you should be able to carry in all states. There is nothing quite like the focus and precision required on the range, and I am looking forward to spending time honing my skills. South Carolina STRONG.
