That’s all very well, but do you envisage countries like USA, UK, Russia, China, France, Japan will come to their senses and switch over to renewables any time soon? And if not, why not?

But what happens when they get damaged due to storm or whatever unforeseen events? What about the cost to the environment clearing the area for solar panels? The govt should have a back up plan. Dutton is not saying he will get rid of renewables anyway. Nuclear is in addition.
