The local body polls/ panchayat elections concluded yesterday in Telangana and the results are little far from the narratives that are being peddled. - Congress, the ruling party in Telangana with all muscle and money power got restricted to 6726 seats. This number includes where open auctions were held and elections were not conducted. - While CM Revanth Reddy claims that he will be the CM for the next decade, the results aren’t very encouraging. - BRS, won more than 34 percent of the total seats despite being in opposition for over two years. 4031 BRS candidates won as sarpanches despite open threats from various MLA level leaders in Congress and many physical attacks! - BJP which claimed to rule Telangana in 2029 won only 697 seats…which is less than 5 percent.
