Kim, I think @ylecun's longer timeline for AGI likely stems from his specific definitions, research focus, and caution, while @sama and @DarioAmodei’s shorter timeline(s) reflect their optimism and strategic viewpoints on current AI developments. Also, don't confuse @AIatMeta progress with Yann's public (individual) statements. Meta/OS is a force to be reckoned with. 🫡

He has tunnel vision for one. But I believe he looks at the system as a whole. While GPT may get very smart it will still probably be a while before agents are navigating the physical world ad the objects in it.
