The idea was that like its Mario but like he's in the real world and like he's like down on his luck and its all gritty and serious and its like its funny because its the juxtaposition of like the cute lovable Mario characters but its like all gritty and real and dark.

I understand why Max dislikes this series because of how derogatory Mickey is, the show is absolutely just "slur funny" but I like Mickey's character design and wish he'd use the character for something else. Even if it's to rip on him or as a villain for Brain dumps.
