This coffee find in an all-suite higher end hotel is excessive I think by any standard. $16 for a DIY drink kit is a little tone deaf, even if it’s convenient. There is always an expectation of a wait when checking into a hotel. Standing in line for hours after traveling, with luggage, at 8 pm on your first night in Las Vegas is not a great look. This is the exact scenario where managers and supervisors should be greating guests, handing out water, welcoming them and doing what they can with available resources to expedite service. This is one of those crown jewel Las Vegas dining experiences that can’t be replicated anywhere else. I went to the open media night to celebrate the 20th anniversary of KA by Cirque Du Soleil at MGM Grand Las Vegas. My unpopular opinion is that Cirque productions are big on artistry but a tad too drawn out for me. People with a limited budget still want vacations & staycations. I booked a room at the most affordable hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, Circus Circus, & was surprised to find the room nicer than expected. It was basic, with no frills, but clean & safe.
