I shared my thoughts on “burrito-gate” about a week before the controversy erupted. If the Right cannot offer a suitable alternative to the empty but effective messaging of the socialist Left, we are going to get our clocks cleaned in upcoming elections. A recent Harvard Youth poll found support... for capitalism at 39% and for socialism at 21%. Young voters are rejecting the labels and backing whoever they think will take bold action on the real affordability crisis they face—not gaslight them that their financial struggles don’t exist. Obviously, electing socialists makes affordability infinitely worse, but with a public education system that teaches socialism and communism can work, it should come as no surprise that young Americans are not appalled by these ideas. Not to mention the fact that even when the Right has held majorities in Congress, the spending cuts we know are necessary to lower the cost of living do not happen. We’ve lived under quasi-socialism in federal spending for decades—backed by both parties—while calling it capitalism. Now that this system is failing, as socialism always does, and Republican majorities have not delivered meaningful reform, socialists are exploiting the opportunity to present their “alternative.” Bold, audacious agendas to tackle inflation and housing affordability will win the day, regardless of what label the politician wears. The challenge for the Right is that we hold power NOW. Heritage has repeatedly offered a menu of bold policies to Congress throughout the last year and a half, but thanks to a handful of liberals with an R next to their name who wield outsized power in such thin majorities, few have come to fruition. We’re running out of time to make a strong enough case for why Americans should continue to trust conservative majorities in Congress.show more

It's gonna be hard to turn that into socialism soon, but what we can do is fight for policies that put working-class people first.” This is a better answer than what we normally get from democratic socialists running for office. We live under a dystopian capitalist system where 70% of Americans struggle to afford housing, healthcare, and groceries, yet the media and both parties constantly fearmonger about socialism. It’s insanity! Socialists need to stop backing down when asked about socialism and communism. It’s not only weak but also concedes power to the capitalist system people are struggling under and fighting against. Socialists should pivot to policies that improve the material conditions of the working class and call out the absurd notion that we should “fear socialism” when we live under a capitalist system that’s failing the majority as it consolidates wealth into fewer and fewer hands. Means of production meaning infrastructure used to produce goods and services like factories, farms, and companies. Capitalism also isn't a vibe. It's not billionaires and corporations controlling politics. It's not a synonym for all the things I hate about my country. It's an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, AKA the means of production. Now, just like Mac versus Windows, there are different versions of capitalism and socialism. Finland, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden are less capitalistic than America, but they are still capitalist. Although they have a few exceptions to the rule, private companies own the means of production, not the government in those countries. Now, you might like certain programs that socialism promises, like universal healthcare, but those programs aren't tied to a specific operating system. Socialism. Do you know what socialism REALLY is? It is the mechanism to bring about a despotic nation. It has two ranks. The socialist major, which consists of the controllers, and the socialist minor, which consists of the plebeians who are under the control of the socialist major. What the minor does not understand is that power aggregates at the top. The decision makers inside of the socialist major cabal will always enjoy a luxury that the minor will not, which means that inequality WILL persist, at extreme levels, in a socialist system. Maybe more than in a capitalist one. Another thing that the minor does not understand is that socialism is dependent on capitalism and socialists work for the capitalist major cabal. That's right. The socialist minor works for the benefit of the capitalist major. Because the capitalist major will always be impervious to socialist policies while those same policies crush their competition in the lower and middle class. To reiterate, the socialist minor is a tool to crush the downtrodden; they were supposed to assist. But what's worse than the socialist-minor? The BLACK socialist-minor. Physical slavery became antiquated so the cabal upgraded to a new form of slavery...Socialism. So, the black socialist minor is a tool to support the latest version of slavery. If socialism aggregates power at the top, and the government is mostly white, you cannot support socialism and fight white supremacy simultaneously. Socialist programs turn poor black populations into wards of the state. They become dependent on the milk from Lady Liberty's breast. Their ambition is stripped from them. But more devastating, their coalition is stripped from them. With government assistance taking care of the poor black population, there is less reason for the black population to organize for their benefit since the government feeds their poor. But if the black population fed themselves, they would be a unified unit. This is exactly what the socialist major does NOT want. Socialism is a parasite with two hosts. One is capitalism, and the other is the socialist minor. Without an oppressed class, there would be no argument for socialism, so in order for socialism to survive, there needs to be oppression. Now, ask yourself, "Who is incentivized to sustain oppression?" The socialist major is really a capitalist in sheep's clothing. They understand how socialism knocks over the ladder while people are trying to climb up. The socialist minor is kept ignorant, given just enough information to get the job done, but not enough to see how harmful their work is. All while the socialist major and capitalist major share the same penthouse suites. Now, I must commend the socialist minor for their intentions. Many of them mean well. They are simply misguided by their emotions and not rational. They are big in heart but small in mind.

Jayapal: This vote shows that, once again, in a bipartisan way, the House passed the War Powers Resolution. This reflects that we will continue to put pressure on this president to stop this war. This is not a partisan issue. Vast majorities of Americans believe that this is an unconstitutional, illegal war that needs to stop. It was not authorized by Congress, and it has cost us the lives of 18 service members, millions who have been displaced, thousands who have been injured, and, on top of that, rising gas prices here at home and a lack of focus on the real issue of affordability that Americans are facing.

Over 600,000 children in Georgia are facing hunger right now as the government shutdown cut off SNAP and WIC benefits for tens of millions of working families. This is a criminal and inhumane policy choice of both the Republican and Democratic Parties that serve the same billionaires. He warns that unless Republicans recognize this, America will elect a socialist president in the future. “Does the socialism thing scare me? Yes.” “Is it the wrong solution? Both DMK and ADMK had made things so easy for Vijay that he keeps scoring with very basic executions day by day. What should have been a hygiene factor looks like an achievement because that is how bad both those parties were. The moment Vijay came to power, he included the parties that extended support for his government in the cabinet ministry. While this may sound so obvious, the fact that Congress, VCK etc were not given this opportunity for decades of being in alliance with both the parties has made Vijay look superior. Both the parties that spoke of social justice lost their faces there. Vijay came out and made a bold statement that no one should ask or give bribe in the Government sector and if anyone asks, people can outright reject stating Vijay's name. Plus he carried out some basic clean up operations in many departments to put an end to the commission practice. While this has not ended corruption totally and we do not know how successful this operation will be in 5 years time, he has the image of being the Champion of ant-corruption campaign in TN for the first time. No one stopped the other two parties from doing this. But they were so comfortable in running a corrupt system that benefits them and their ministers too. Today people are celebrating the live telecast of assembly sessions everyday. This is infact the electoral promise of both the parties in the past but they never executed. This is not even a technical challenge. All it takes is the intent to make the sessions transparent and Vijay simply had to do that. By doing this, it is not just the majority of DMK MLAs who are getting exposed, even a few TVK ministers' activities are being questioned. But Vijay is ok with that and he is bold enough to do this. Universal Ostrich Farms Update: We are still trying to get a headcount on the number of birds here, it is proving to be quite difficult. The family is quite concerned, as are supporters. The CFIA will not provide a headcount and are not being transparent with the family or the public. The RCMP have stated that they have begun in an investigation and that the investigation is ongoing but they are relying on information from CFIA for their investigation. I don't know if there are missing birds here, but I think that the truth matters and we are going to do our best to get to the bottom of it. More to come.
