If they are squaring up with you they have a knife 9/10 times even if they are in a group. Just walk to a car and shape jump away. ALWAYS have a throwable weapon and just tank their hits and stalk to t3 with BL3 and chuck your weapon for like 80% of their hp. Easy downs.

You should have played better yes. You can barely tackle situations like this without tier 3 and your abilities. Even without abilities if you’re good with shape jump then you can catch them off guard for very strong axe attacks if you bring or find that weapon.

Literally the only counter to this is hit stunning them with an axe and that only works if it’s one or two people. Otherwise you kind of just have to go into a hiding spot. Reminder if it’s available that you can use reality tear to go into traversal as well as out (even downed)

Don’t grab when there’s multiple around unless one of them is tier 3 stalk, it’s better to get close and spam your light attacks. Tier 3 makes its wayyyy harder to struggle free from so stalk, grab them to see if they have an escape tool, enter shape jump, then reality tear

Play less like a brute and more intelligently; be patient, build up your chase bonus to 3, and your bloodlust to 3, then try to catch them at the opportune moment. Players are just a late-game bonus, prioritize primary and secondary civilians.
