(Reupload) Jungkook's Apology over Recent Livestream Interaction with Friends: 🐰: Ah, right. I should apologize to ARMY before I go. Regarding my recent live stream... personally, I’m not really sure if I did something that wrong. But, I’m not a public figure, and people in this industry or on YouTube—they all say these things. 🐰: Since I haven't shown that side of myself before, I thought some of you might have felt uncomfortable. If any ARMYs felt that way, since you’re our ARMY, I want to say I’m sorry. I’ll try to hold back more. I think I was just in a really good mood that day. I’m sorry. 🐰: And well, to those who are just busy trying to criticize everything, I don’t really have much to say to them. Thank you for your interest though. I mean, if you get sued, I guess it’s none of my business... but anyway, thank you for your interest. 🐰: Regardless, I really wanted to say that to our ARMY. I was just in such a great mood that day. We just had our comeback and everything, so...Anyway, to the ARMY who felt uncomfortable, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. 🐰: Anyway, for those ARMYs who felt uncomfortable, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Please just know that. ARMYs... truthfully, I think you all know how I feel about you. You know how I think of you and how much I care about you. The people who already know, I believe they truly know. I’ve always been sincere. 🐰: The reason I want to do my best and work hard is because of you all. I’ve done well ten times, and well, I can’t say I’m a perfectly 'kind' person or a perfectly 'upright' person... but I’ve always tried to be sincere with all of you. So it's because of that, that I’m feeling a bit back and forth like this. I just want you to know how I feel. 🐰: I don’t know. Well, I guess it can’t be helped. So, I think I wanted to apologize before I left. Having said that, I don’t know where I’ll bounce to next. I’m the type of person who’s like this at one time and like that at another, so I don’t even know where I’ll bounce to. 🐰: But there’s a really sensitive line, you know. Like committing a crime, or something… anyway, I won’t do anything really bad. But as a human being, sometimes… that can happen. If that’s uncomfortable, or if you think something isn’t right, please point it out. I’ll look at it and accept it too. 🐰: You know, I don't really think I did anything wrong. What’s so wrong with it, honestly? Actually, there were many people who liked it when I did that. So, I don't think it's wrong, but... since there are so many ARMYs out there, and they're all so diverse. I'm sure some were uncomfortable with it. So, I just wanted to say I’m sorry to those people. 🐰: I'm sure another edited version of this will go up. Lately, these edits have been really provocative, haven't they? It's not like I cursed at ARMY. I can curse at my friends, right? Of course, seeing someone curse in front of a camera might be uncomfortable, but there are so many celebrities who do that in front of the camera. That's why I don't think I did anything wrong.

jihoon reminiscing Hello Tour and was feeling emotional cause he missed his past self that was full of hopes and dreams ☹️ 🐶 during the Hello Tour, I really felt a lot of things. it was my first time visiting so many countries. when I think of Hello Tour, there’s a certain scent I associate with it. there’s a kind of vibe. Reboot has one, and Pulse On is still being made 🐶 Hello Tour was my first tour, so everything felt so fun and so impressive. honestly, I suddenly feel a bit sad. why am I suddenly sad? I feel kind of emotional. 🐶 maybe it’s because im getting older, and even though there are obviously good things that come with time passing, there are also things that don’t feel as good anymore. I keep thinking about that. 🐶 what age was I during Hello Tour again? I think I was 23? it was 2022 yeah I was 23. back then, in my early 20s, I had a lot of worries too, but still, there was something about that time. it feels kind of nostalgic. 🐶 now that I think about it, I feel like I had more dreams than reality back then. but now i’ve grown older, and I feel like im slowly compromising more with reality. 🐶 I kind of don’t like the current version of myself. rather than “don’t like” it’s more that I miss the past me. something like that. 🐶 anyway, that’s how I feel. but I can’t go back anymore. time has passed, and while there are things that have become better, there are things I need to let go of too, so I guess I should let them go. cr. _hoonzip

Éric Rohmer explains why he didn't like his movies being screened at crowded theaters: "If it depended only on me, instead of attracting people to my films, I would try to drive them away. I would tell them the films are more difficult than they really are, because I don’t like to deceive people, I like to show my films to people who can appreciate them. I’m not interested in the number of spectators. Having said that, it’s true that a film is a commercial undertaking and ought to recover its costs. But as my films don’t cost much, I don’t think I need a very large audience, and I’ve always thought that they should be shown in theaters that aren’t too big. The intimate character of my films doesn’t suit a theater or an audience too large for them. And I don’t think they are suited to a mass reaction or a collective reaction. It’s better if the spectator feels he is experiencing a completely personal reaction to it. Each reaction should be unique, individual, and different. I think the film is enjoyed better if the spectators aren’t sitting too near one another, if the theater isn’t too full, and they don’t know each other. Then each has a different reaction. That’s better than a theater where there’s a uniform reaction. I don’t like watching one of my films in public and it distresses me if everyone laughs in the same place, as my film wasn’t made with that in mind. I didn’t write something just to make everyone laugh at the same time. It’s all right if someone smiles, but it shouldn’t happen at exactly the same place in the film. Perhaps this is because my films are more like reading than like watching a spectacle; they are made more to be read like a book than seen like something on the stage. So it distresses me to see a collective reaction." (Éric Rohmer's interview with Éric Rohmer, 1971) Clip from: La collectionneuse (1967) Director: Éric Rohmer

Fathers to a son: please read this. We dropped my oldest off at college this week. He is 18. Totally ready to leave the house. Desperate for independence. This is the way it should be. But it has torn me up. Statistically we have spent 90% of all the time we ever will together. I am sad because I know I made a lot of mistakes during this time. Mainly, I was too hard on him because he was the oldest, and he was a boy. I was the oldest, and a son in my family. I repeated some mistakes that were made with me. Even though I was convinced I would do a better job. I spanked him. I used unkind and hurtful words when I thought he fell short. Things that I have learned cause more harm than good. Things I wish I could take back. Basically I was just too damn hard on him. I have learned and (I hope) improved as a father. Which benefits his little sister and brother. I wrote him a long letter before he left. I told him how proud I am of him, tried to give him some words of wisdom, but also apologized for not always being a great dad. I told him I wanted to be the greatest dad in the world, but I didn’t always know how. I explained how I was brought up, and my father was brought up, and that I had brought some stuff along as a dad that I hope he is smart enough to leave behind when he is a dad. I know my grandfather had it ROUGH. My dad had it a bit less ROUGH. I had it by comparison better, and my son did too. However I could have and should have done a better job in my link of this chain of fatherhood. I am confident my son will do better when it is his turn. To the dads out there, especially with your oldest son…try not to be so hard on him. He doesn’t need to feel the weight of all of your expectations of a family lineage, he doesn’t need to be made into a clone of you, he doesn’t have to be made ready to be your “successor”. Watch how you discipline him…think very carefully about what you are trying to do and what the expected results will be. He just needs to be a good man and to be happy. And you need to keep a good relationship with him.

Let’s get something straight, y’all: I’m not perfect. I’m a Christian. But I’m not a good one. I believe in Jesus 100%. But I cuss like a sailor. I’m quick to anger. I’ll throw these hands. I’m absolutely riddled with sin. If I get past the pearly gates, I’ll wind up on the Southside of Heaven where folks are listening to Bocephus and drinking moonshine. And I’m okay with that. Here’s what I’m not okay with: I’m not okay with someone being disrespectful to me or anyone else, especially in an instance like this. For those of y’all who don’t know Renatta, you should go follow her. She’s inspirational. She makes me want to be a better Christian. She’s full of love and light. Her disability? It’s insignificant. Renatta is often attacked by people on the left. Folks call her the r-word for standing up for her beliefs. Yeah. The all accepting left… picking on a woman for not fitting their standard of normal. Anytime I see it, my heart breaks. It makes me angry. I worked with special needs kids throughout middle and high school. Autism is rampant in the younger generation of my family. My nephew? He’s non-verbal. So when Cory here decided to attack me in her comments rather than on my turf? It made my teeth itch. Why would you attempt to change the conversation away from such a touchy subject? Who does that? I blocked him. But Cory? He tracked down my email. Don’t be like Cory, y’all. Be better than Cory. Be better than me. Be like Renatta.
