Today is autistic pride day. And there is something special about being able to post a video of me stimming, when even going back a year or two years I could never have done that. My autistic traits are the parts of myself I grew up feeling embarrassed about. I wanted to hide it all away, to blend in and be like everyone else. But no matter how hard I tried, I just wasn’t like everyone else, and trying to be broke me. I don’t think autistic pride means you have to love being autistic. I think autistic pride is about taking back the power from the world and the people that wanted me to hide my autistic self. Learning to love myself as I am, accept myself for who I am, and know that I am autistic and that is okay. It is not good, it is not bad - it just IS. I know I am lucky to be able to discover the authentic me, and feel safe to be myself. I am leaning in to the authentic version of me as fully as I can. Happy #AutisticPrideDay. Know that however you feel about this day is okay. However you feel about being autistic is okay. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜 (also taking a moment to feel the emotion that I can even post this caption, after years and years of hating myself. this is healing).

I would love to know what possesses people who have never worked a day in the classroom to comment on a video made by a teacher talking about teaching to say how easy teaching is and how selfish teachers are

Apparently, in Norway, it is common for parents to let babies take naps outside in cold temperatures. I don’t know how I feel about that. Thoughts?

I would love to know how one starts to get involved with this. Like, how do you begin training? This guy is outstanding.

For those just learning, how deep down the rabbit hole would you like to go? What if I were to tell you Epstein is a small fish and just the tip of the iceberg? Would you believe me or would you have to see it yourself? Unfortunately I have done the research and would love for you to just take my word for it, but I know how the human mind works. 🙏

Lisa Bluder on Molly Davis: "My heart aches for that kid. Basketball is so important to her... It's amazing how she's handled this and I know how much it's hurting her. And I would love to get her on the floor for a couple seconds."
