However, after completing the trip, she realized the amount had been reduced to just GH₵40. When she questioned the passenger, the woman explained that her son had ordered the ride on her behalf. Upon further probing, the driver discovered that the son had used a newly registered SIM card to create a Bolt account, which significantly reduced the fare. The driver added that she was so hurt and disappointed that she couldn’t even bring herself to remove the woman’s belongings from the car, leaving the elderly passenger to do it herself.
