James 💌 21.09.2026 #JamesSu #JDSEngsub To be honest, I was super stressed when I was gonna act in Fanboy. Anyone who followed me from the start knows that I... how do I put it, had a stain? Or whatever, a lot of things. But I do not really wanna bring that up. Talking about how I felt, I was like, am I gonna get blasted again? Do I gotta explain myself all over again? If you ask if I wanted to do it, I wanted to do it so bad. And there was this push that made me feel like, okay, if I don’t wanna get dragged or talked trash about my artist side anymore, well, honestly, I already explained it like millions of times. So I was like, okay, I will just show them. Coming back to act this time, I will do it so well that no one can say a thing about me. Honestly, that was literally what I thought, like, I am gonna act till I drop. I literally mean it, act till I drop, just to make it good. Honestly speaking, back then I was still super new. I didn’t have much experience with acting at all, I was a total beginner. But this time, anything I saw outside the classroom, I picked it all up to use. How I think, how I feel, how I talk, every little skill. I wanted to prove myself and clear my name, and I wanted my fans to be proud of me too. Real talk, I had no idea what I looked like while acting. I only got to see a bit when the continuity team came to tell me, “Next is a close up, you gotta raise your hand like this.” Or sometimes Phi Kla called me over to the monitor to show me how I was acting, just to fix it for the next take. That was pretty much it. But honestly, when I finally watched it on screen with everyone, all the tiredness just vanished. It felt like such a relief, super worth everything I put up with. You guys can watch and feel whatever you feel. You can hate whoever you hate, dislike whoever you dislike. Say whatever you feel, towards the characters, though, not me. Because that is Nine, and this is James.

This is how he turned things around. what "I realized I had nowhere else to fall from this because I just felt like I’d made a lot of bad career decisions and I was washed up early and I just sat there in this temple." It was a good place to sit and think because he didn't know anyone and didn't understand anything. "And I just started writing in a notebook about why my life sucked so badly." This book, a journal he's kept every year that he calls the book of life, allows him to take an accurate accounting of his life and change his mindset through reflection. After writing for hours about how bad his life sucked and all the mistakes he'd made, he focused on one small thing. "I just ended on this one thing: that I smoked cigarettes. I didn’t even smoke smoke. I smoked like one or two a day, a pack a night if I was at a bar on weekends, but I hated it ... I didn’t want to do it, but I kept doing it." He felt like his life was out of control, but this was one thing he could control. "I just was like, if I could do one thing to know that I’m making some positive change in my life, I’m going to quit smoking. So on October 19th, 1994, I did a lifetime quit on cigarettes and then every day for that year after that, that I didn’t smoke, it was something I could feel good about. So I was like, okay, I did something for myself today by not smoking." The wins started to stack. I asked him what he was writing about. What was his process? "At that point, I had no structure or process. I was just writing, and there was so much in me." Was it anger? "It was. I did feel angry and frustrated and I was like, I had all these dreams. I wanted to be an entrepreneur from early on and I was an achiever. I thought I was an achiever, but I was not achieving." It's been stuck in my heart for several days now. I was on X and I wasn't very comfortable the other day when I opened it up and saw our fanclub fighting. Honestly, the comments from all sides were deleted, but I read them all. I feel like everyone has their own reasons; I understand why this person would think this way or why that person would think that way. But what I want to say is in the end, I'm not stressed, but I just feel like we are on the same side! We are in the same team, please don't worry. And when you guys fight, I'm begging you, let's just be happy together instead, because we're already on the same team. I wanted to tell everyone that seeing you guys fight amongst yourselves makes me uneasy. We're people on the same side, yet.. and actually, I find it kind of funny. I feel like fans fighting is just like a couple fighting. It's like, 'Why didn't you do that?' or 'Why didn't I do this?' and things like that. I feel that some people might feel bad, and I apologise if this is a sensitive issue. But I feel it's actually something quite cute, because in the end, everyone just wants to push and support (us). I’m writing this while I’m still in it. Still stressed. Still exhausted. Still after crying. And I’m still working through the night. I need people to understand what this really looks like. The posts you see do not come from some calm, quiet, comfortable life. They are written in the middle of pressure, fatigue, sickness, grief, and responsibility. I take a photo, I write my story, and I post it. Then I keep working. Because I have to. Because my guys need me. Because I cannot give up. Because if I stop, the consequences are real. Every single day, I make the choice to stay here. And yes, sometimes that choice hurts. I am human. I know I could go home. I know there is a beautiful life waiting for me somewhere else. I know what I am missing. I know what rest could look like. I know what peace could feel like. But I stay. I stay because my boys cannot simply go home. I stay because they do not have the freedoms I have as a foreigner under contract. I stay because love is not a feeling here. Love is duty. Love is sacrifice. Love is showing up again and again, even when you are breaking. Right now, I am doing the work of five or six people in this brigade. Not because I have endless strength. Not because I never fall apart. Not because I am some kind of machine. I do it because I care that much. I do it because I am passionate, because I believe in #Ukraine I am a soldier. Not a volunteer. This is not something I step in and out of when it is convenient or I have the energy. This is my duty. 24/7. I save my vacation because when I finally leave for a little while, I do not want a getaway. I do not want a trip. I do not want sightseeing. I do not want Kyiv. I do not want the Carpathians. I want to go home to #Canada. And until the day I can do that, I work. Every post. Every video. Every message. Every fundraiser. I am on duty. Every four to six weeks, I scrape together a few hours to take care of myself and try to remember what normal feels like. But the truth is that I am tired. And some of what I do might look small from the outside. It might look ordinary. It might even look stupid. It is not. Because if I do not do these things, people will die. And yes, they may die anyway. This is war. There are no guarantees here. There are no perfect endings. There is only the fight to give them a better chance, one more chance, any chance at all. YOU give them that fighting chance. And that is why I am asking you, from the deepest and most exhausted part of me, to help. I cannot do this alone. I am one person doing the work of five or six people. But with you, I am not alone. With you, thousands of hands help carry this weight. With you, this burden becomes survivable. And while I was shaping pieces, I got to try making a bunch of different items. And at one point, I was thinking “if I were to make a cup or a piece of pottery for Khaotung, what should it be?” And I noticed that lately he's been drinking a lot of coffee and tea, so I decided to make a cup. Yeah, so l shaped it and just felt like I wanted to make this for him. And when it came time to paint it, I was thinking what color should I choose for you? When I look at you, I feel this soft blue, a gentle blue that's really comforting… kub. Happy birthday friend. I'm giving you this because | really want to, but if there's anything else you'd like as an extra birthday gift, just let me know. I made a total of four cups and one plate, and yours is the only cup that didn't break. The other cups have a few little cracks, but yours is the most perfect one. 🐈: *touched* This one is enough. Just this, this one is much more than expected. I’M SOBBING SO MUCH 😭😭😭

Sad Forever song and video out now 🥺 It felt right to add this song to the Mirror album and give you guys another song that you can cry to/sing on tour with me, so you can find ‘Sad Forever’ on the deluxe version of ‘Mirror’ now. If I’m being honest with you this whole year my personal life has felt like one bad thing after another. I try my hardest to feel happy and okay but when so many things go wrong it’s rly hard to feel that way. When I wrote ‘Sad Forever’ I felt like I was never gonna get through it and it was just gonna continue to be one bad thing after another.
