I spent some time with Bernie Moreno talking to air traffic controllers who won’t be getting paid for their hard work, thanks to the Democrats. There will be staffing shortages and delays due to their shutdown and it’s time they do their job and open the government back up!

The Laken Riley Act proves GOP prioritizes citizens, but Dems block solutions to keep the border open and budgets bloated. Shutdowns happen when Dems choose handouts over homeland security. Fund the government? Easy: cut waste, stop funding lawlessness, and pay our essential workers. But Dems would rather play politics than protect taxpayers.

@berniemoreno If you care so much about air traffic controllers, when is our next pay raise? I'm a contract air traffic controller making only$36/hr. I've only had 2 raises in the last 10 years. The duties and responsibilities outweigh the pay. Our airport police make just as much as we do.
