In the short term, as a consequence of the Iran war: - Countries have to sell gold to fund domestic needs - Higher interest rates make the USD more attractive vs gold In the long term: - The US can't afford high rates - Debt-to-GDP is too high - Deficits are surging Which will result in massive money printing and a severe loss of purchasing power for the USD in the coming years, reminiscent of the 70s, which will be bullish for gold and other hard assets. I watched Andrew Branca Show’s analysis of the ICE shooting in Minneapolis yesterday. I also watched NYT’s analysis. In addition to all available footage as of today. A very relevant fact that Branca noted in his analysis is the fact that the tires are in fact pointing in the direction of the officer (leftish or straight) in front of the car when they start screeching with acceleration. From the subjective perspective of the officer in front, this would likely satisfy the criteria of reasonable fear of immediate bodily harm or death.

I do not believe it would be in any way probable that the British courts would reach any other conclusion" "And if the Labour party allow this bill to go through I very much hope there will be a legal challenge. And the supreme court will consider it obviously objectively again. But I think its likely they will strike it down again, as incompatible with the constitutional arrangements which we prize so much in this country"
