It’s rare for a Freshman to be one of the top Mid Major players in college basketball, but Furman 6’6 PG Alex Wilkins has been doing it this season. So far this season Wilkins is averaging 17/2/5 on a 57% TS and has been a big reason on why Furman has been a top Mid Major this season. Wilkins’s mix of finishing, rim pressure, passing, mid range scoring, and shot creation is extremely advanced for his age and size. He’s been one of the most impressive guard finishers in the country shooting 62% at the rim on high usage. He’s also shooting 53% from the mid range. Wilkins’s craft and scoring ability has helped him be one of the top PNR operators this season starting the season in the 85th percentile. Wilkins, Markelle Fultz, and Jalen Pickett are the only Freshmen since 2008 to have an AST% of 35, shoot 60% at the rim, and above 40% from the mid range.

As the Magic still punished the Cavs and beat them in 6 and would have been 5 if not a great buzzer beater from LeBron. LeBron was also a -7 for the series. But when then Magic faced Kobe they were pretty much dominated because Kobe was the scoring engine and a threat all around the court. So the Magic could not just load up on the Lakers role players because Kobe’s action was putting so much pressure on them. They had to watch Kobe when he was around his spots in the mid-range and it often led to Pau Gasol having more one on ones in the post and even slashing and getting easy hand-offs from Kobe. Kobe averaged 32PPG with 7.4 assists and was a +49 for the series. It was total domination when he was on the court. He opened up everything and his action was way too much for the Magic. There was no defense for Kobe at this time in his career. He was the best player in the league which is why he went to 3 straight finals out of the gutter Western Conference and won back to back with Pau Gasol as his running mate

I don’t get on here much anymore, but still have a bunch of friends who have always shown interest in the boys so I thought I’d share a video of Roman from last night. Let me set the stage first… Roman is a freshman at Fishers HS, which happens to have the best boys program in the state (there’s a reason he chose to go there with our support)—they’ll start the season #1 and the coaching staff is next level. He’ll be playing a combo JV and freshman this year, which allows him to practice against two of the best guards in the state every day—both will be playing high level D1 in a couple of years. The perfect set up for him to continue to pursue his goals, assuming he puts in the work. Last night was the season kickoff night and Roman got to participate in the three point shootout (he didn’t tell me he’d be doing this) and after sitting for 30-plus minutes because only varsity participated in everything prior to the 3-point contest, he took two shots and did this… 22 threes in 60 seconds—tying the best shooter on the team and forcing a shootout where he lost 10-12 in 30 seconds. As you can hear, Silas and I were hyped for him. I know this doesn’t meant anything as there’s more to the game than standstill shooting, but I also know it doesn’t mean nothing.

So you all guessed wrong! LOL. I bought an M240i! I was also duped when I saw the car under the covers. It definitely looked like an M2 but demonstrates just how aggressive the lines are on this car. A car cover accentuates them. 0-60 in 3.8... she's absolutely rapid. A great all-rounder and possibly the best bang for buck car in BMW's lineup today. This is the first car I've owned since 2013 when my Focus RS was stolen. Since then I've travelled on foot, train or driven other people's cars. It's certainly kept me fit as in the 2 months I've had this car I've already gained weight! If anyone saw my credit score post you will know that I wasn't eligible to get finance having been refused finance last year on a car. When I bought this I still had defaults and a low score. Alhamdulillah I was able to buy it outright. Zero finance. A major accomplishment. This is all thanks to levelling up my trading massively in the last few years. I've totally changed my life. True story - I was sat in this car in the Sytner BMW showroom when it was first launched around 3 years ago dreaming of 1 day being able to own 1. My mum said if I saved up I could probably buy one in 7 years. I was a struggling trader still working on gathering my data and improving my edge. If you're down in the dumps and it looks like life isn't getting any better and won't improve it can and it will. But you've got to make that breakthrough change. I was at my lowest of lows for over 10 years trying to make it work. I was going to become successful trading or die trying. There was no plan B. I want to tell you that if you make some drastic changes you can turn your life around and pretty quickly too. With the access to capital we now all have it's definitely possible. Countless people are now changing their lives and improving their prospects. Like I've said before this is the golden era for retail traders. I firmly believe it still is. The rest is history.
