Any player that does this should immediately be cut from the roster. It makes no sense for someone to be able to make it all the way to the NFL, but still somehow be this stupid.

His punishment for this was being sent to the Jets

This was bad no doubt. And he was semi benched in the game for it. The play that ended his career with the Colts was later in that game when he was mentally out of it and held for no reason on a JT TD run that got called back. He was done after that play.

This single action got him traded to the Jets. Life altering mistake tbh

Had him in DFS that week and bet on him to score 🙃

Honestly reflecting on that game, it wasn’t that bad. He didn’t do the stupid drop the ball thing, he did a stupid extend celebration thing and the ball slipped out, which wasn’t intentional. The hold that got that TD called back was also critical for the TD, so it didn’t cost it

They really need to change this rule. If you fumble at your goal line and it goes out of bounds in the endzone you should get it back where you fumbled it. If it doesn't go out of bounds it's just a live ball.
