Nandos used to make ads like this but they lost their appetite for spicy jokes about the powerful after Zuma.

The advert is funny, but I feel it is a miss from a brand selling perspective. I would give it a perfect score as a political tool, but not as a brand marketing tool. This advertisement was released during South Africa's election season in 2024. At the time, it was able to generate enough controversy, but it did not get us talking about the brand, but politics. It didn't sell the brand enough; it just became a political instrument as it is now.
