I get it but at the time I didn’t understand it. At the time I was ready to put the team back together cause we had just lost so we wanted to put something back together so we could win. And it really didn’t go like that. I took offense to it tbh… I’m a competitor and tbh when you go back to the locker room and Bron ain’t in that chair and everybody is looking at you and D Wade for that 25 points it’s like damn, man. Sh*t my knee hurts… I was upset it took months to get over it. Full interview with Yuki Ishikawa after the match against Canada: Yuki: We weren't able to move forward after the loss to Turkey, and we thought we'd turned the page, but looking at the result, I don't think we were able to move forward. -Today's match made it difficult for us to advance to the group stage, so how do you take this result? Yuki: I think it's very tough, and Turkey has six points, and Canada also has six points, so we can't go any further. So we're here, but we still have one match left, so we need to think about how to handle it first. And then there are even more important matches coming up, like the Asian Championships next year, so we want to play in a way that will get us to those matches. -I think we've just started our journey towards Los Angeles, but what kind of volleyball do you want Japan to play from here on out? Yuki: Exactly. Seeing this result, I once again had the feeling that we're not a strong team, so I think each of us has more to improve.
