I stole Payo's Mail in WoW Forever a mail-stealing exploit has gotten some players rich in WoW Forever's beta.. on WoW Forever, you have to have two names now, but Blizzard hasn't set it up right much of the time, when you send someone mail with the same name,... someone else with the same name, someone with a LAST name earlier in the alphabet will receive the mail instead so if you take the name of a famous streamer like Asmongold or Sodapoppin or Payo, you will get stacks of cloth and valuable mats. The two name system isnt a mistake, the beta is just the time to fix it. Nothing on the beta actually matters.

I've always thought WoW should've had a second name line. Most NPC have a second name, a second name means nobody needs to add a bunch of x or alt characters to get the name they actually want and it makes alot of opportunities for funny names. For an RPG id ask why not have it

@nohitjerome The beta had been more like an alpha Im actually concerned Just this weekend you had in game DMs taking 3-4 minutes delay . This has happened several weekends and it’s not fixed because blizzard doesn’t work weekends

This has been a known bug and the fact that it hasn’t been fixed is astounding

rumors are that it will be getting fixed soon. though i keep inviting ppl to groups and it invites other people a lot of the time. i assume its a similar bug

Having incompetent people code it AND have no appropriate review was the mistake. Sure, it's beta, but this is SO FAR from quality expected from Blizzard.

No they just have non engineers creating systems, they have poor practices and don’t know how to test. This should’ve been caught if they had basic tests.

Stealing mail and getting rich off it? That’s not an exploit, that’s just chaotic economics with extra steps. If you’re feeling entrepreneurial, come feed the critter in my header-it thrives on that energy.

i strongly dislike the two name system

ESO figured this out years ago. Use account names. So aidenpryde@accountname. When you email, you email the accountname not the character name. Why @Blizzard_Ent went this way is beyond little ol me. Seems a stupid way to deal with names on one megaserver.

It's beta. This is what beta testing is for, to find bugs like this. They'll likely correct this before release day.
