This was an old event that recirculates I believe - March 12, 2021 - Officer Josh Baker (Metro Nashville Police, 14-year veteran) conducted a traffic stop/investigative stop on the black Camaro in a Dollar General parking lot on Brick Church Pike. The driver was Nika Nicole Holbert, 31. During the stop, Holbert resisted arrest. A taser was deployed, but she produced a gun and shot Officer Baker (he was hit in the torso, wound went under his vest; he survived after surgery). Officer Baker returned fire, striking Holbert. She fled the scene in the car, crashed shortly after, and was taken to a hospital where she died from her wounds.
