Smh we the only people that will force our kids and or family to survival mode and think we did something.

I had a white co worker of mine stayed with his fam all through medical school + the first couple years after. When he left the house, he saved over $100,000. When he did move out, he bought a house and already started investing. I’m doing this with mine, stay home & build.🤷🏾♂️

The niggas she bringing over keep looking at her daughter. That’s all it is , Mama tired of it

Black ppl the only ones that think like this

Apartments? Sending your children out to build equity for some landlord is exactly how NOT to build generational wealth.

Idk how I feel about this fr. I ain’t kicking my daughter to the streets with just a 90 day notice.

A black culture issue.

leave the nest into debt! Man man man! we have it backward. Instead of building our own economy we rather enrich the car dealership, the bank and the rental company.

Keep the same “energy” if you find yourself in a nursing home and they don't come visit.

We need to acknowledge that many Black parents need healing before bringing children into the world. This perpetuates trauma and forces their kids into survival mode, contributing to broader societal issues like homelessness. While teaching responsibility is important, subjecting your children to unnecessary hardships, especially in today's economy, is deeply saddening and preventable.
