Today we visited Oriire LGA to meet with the family members of children and teachers that were abducted about two weeks ago. I am extremely concerned at how young Nigerians are losing hope about the future of our country. Every time they come to have a conversation with me about bad governance, fraudulent elections, and resultant hardship being faced by citizens, I deeply feel sad about the situation. Yesterday evening, I received yet another group of youths from across the 19 Northern states, led by Alh. Adamu Bappa Gombe. They were worried about how their votes don't count and how bad governance and policies impact negatively on their standard of living and private businesses. I have continued to encourage them not to give up. I told them the change they desire can only come through the ballot. I reminded them that they have a responsibility to mobilize their fellow young people to keep participating in the process of leadership recruitment through elections. I reminded them that the change they desire cannot be attained by voter apathy and that 25% to 30% voter turnout in every election cycle is not encouraging. I challenged them to make a huge difference by influencing massive participation in 2027. On our part, we shall not relent until Nigeria is recovered from anti democratic forces. -AA

I haven’t had the chance to attend one of these events myself, but I would definitely love to talk about how WilliamEst carry themselves in them. First of all, they are both people who truly love their fans and are genuinely excited to see how they grow together with them over time. And the fact that they still choose to do it—even if it means extending the event—speaks volumes about how deeply they care. For WilliamEst, it’s important that all their fans get to see them. Because let’s be honest: being physically close to them doesn’t always mean you actually get to see them clearly or interact with them. It’s like having them right there, yet somehow still far away. I know both of them are aware of this, and that’s why they try to find ways to share at least a few seconds with each fan. Est talks with the organizers to plan a walk around the venue that allows them to greet all the fans, while William shares his idea of the route with LYKN so that every fan has the chance to see them or say hello. Why are Josh and Tracie acting so angry? If they would stop coming after me and my friends, I wouldn’t have to talk about him and his new friends gatekeeping. Keep in mind, I mentioned no one’s name in my post. Discussing all possibilities is not a narrative. They say they are not gatekeepers. Here is the definition of a gatekeeper, straight from the Q drops: “A person that controls access, as to information, OFTEN ACTING AS AN ARBITER OF QUALITY OR LEGITIMACY.” I have never said the midterms will be paused. Not once. I’ve said they should be paused, they can be paused, and I believe they will be, but I don’t know what the plan is so we will have to wait and see. When the midterms happen, whether on time or delayed, we will vote our asses off. He says when the pause doesn’t happen, he’s going to destroy my narrative? I don’t have a narrative! And yes, he’s talking to me, referencing my recent gatekeeping post. Not once have I attacked anyone who does not believe a pause of the elections is possible. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and to share their opinions. They are the ones attacking us for our opinions, and straight up lying about us. These are not patriots. Pause. Pause and listen to Ryan explain how Body to Body was born. I was grinning the whole time. You can clearly see there’s a reason why once artists work with BTS, their whole perception about who they are changes. Just from watching this full interview, you can tell the kind of drive and mindset that comes from Ryan Tedder as an artist, as a producer, aligns very closely with who BTS are as artists and musicians and how they’ve always approached their work. There’s no ambiguity in their goals. And it’s not about making hits. But it’s about music that speaks to them. Music that then, also speaks to others. It’s enthralling to listen to. And it’s that misconception people have that skews first impressions. Until they meet BTS, dive deeper into their work, and realise oh shit. These guys are the real deal. They care about their music. About their fans. They care about what they say. They care about every single beat and lyric and flow. Not just putting a bunch of samples and words together.
