Ox Alpha is behaving weirdly. I gave both of them 3 scenes to build. When the scene is something it's likely seen before, it generates nicely. Give it an unfamiliar scene, and it just doesn't understand it. Kimi K3 nailed all 3 and understood exactly what I was asking for.

It worked!! Kimi k3 Oauth is now wired directly into codex. The Kimi k3 model is insane but their app is not. So I figure a better way to use k3 by hooking my sub straight into codex instead. K3 now sits in the model picker next to Sol 5.6. Same subscription i was already paying for, no api key, just have to do OAuth in Kimi Code. Links down below 👇

Just tested Kimi.ai K3 against GPT-5.6 and Grok 4.5 on the same task: build a Subway Surfers game. Kimi K3 was my favorite. Better UI, smoother gameplay, and the overall experience felt more polished. GPT-5.6 was solid too, while Grok 4.5 fell behind on the UI. The interesting part is that all three needed at least one follow-up prompt. Kimi also took a bit longer to generate, but the extra time paid off. Ran Kimi K3 through Nebius Token Factory. Low inference cost + a really capable open source model is a great combo.

The frontend and game dev output coming out of this thing has been insanely impressive. Nobody knows who built it. My best guesses: Zhipu with an unreleased GLM, or ByteDance. The serving capacity is too massive for a small lab. Whoever it is needs to release this yesterday.

Kimi K3 vs GLM 5.3 “make the ghost of tsushimas main menu from scratch” What’s funny is I thought Kimi K3 was being really lazy when you would go into the options and switch the language and it wouldn’t actually change anything. However, the graphics were stunning. The visuals were nice. You could go into the settings. You could change the options the brightness, the ambience. But when I saw how terrible GLM did, I instantly forgave Kimi for not adding that feature. Not even close
