I think about these 2 minutes of Bob Myers explaining the difference between regular season and playoff basketball every time I see a player struggle in the postseason.

Never seen that clip before. Great clip

I want Bob Myers running the Knicks, this guy gets it

My guess is Bob Myers doesn’t supermax Jaylen Brown but Brad Stevens will and that’s the difference between a hall of fame GM and a child.

I could listen to Myers talk bball all day.

@DaKidGowie Sure, but if you see Joels stats in other playoff since 2021 (the year he made a jump) he has not had that dropped. In the nets series hes scoring dropped to neutralize the nets game plan. And celtics series he was playing injured (and had a bad series)

Great insight into regular season vs postseason. So true.

He is absolutely right about the playoffs. But that's Bob Myers a few years ago. This year, knowing what he knows about the playoffs, he let the Warriors compete in the playoffs with a very weak roster, and the Warriors looked really bad against the Lakers.

Well said!

This why draymond like bob. He know ball and isn’t just some dumb exec

@OMagicDaily I know this is playoffs related but feels like this is exactly what the Magic look for in players

💯 re Playoff Randle

@SportsBoyTony @KenCarman

This is an awesome listen. Where can I find the full discussion? Thanks.

Real talk by Myers. That’s what it’s about in a nutshell.

GREAT CLIP. SO TRUE
