Anyone want to try substantiating this idea with a single example of what it could plausibly apply to? Seems like no one has tried yet. Is it because any attempt is hard to classify into example or non-example? Or do the examples lack the profundity of the abstraction?

I think society is littered with people making one or two steps up/out, but they’re relative in terms of importance!

there are studies about how our brain can pick up or “sense” things without conscious processing. Stuff like predicting well above mere chance when someone is looking at the back of your head. Problem is if it’s not mathematical many don’t think it’s real.
