I carry unleaded and diesel. That diesel might be hard to ignite, but that unleaded is ready to go at a whisper, and if the unleaded goes, the diesel will follow, and we’ll all be saying “bye-bye”. Be smart. Stay out of my way.

🤝

People ask if it freaks me out hauling the stuff we haul. Hydrogen, oxygen, acetylene, methane, propane to name a few. I say nope. If something goes bad I won’t even know it, I’ll be gone in seconds or less.

Is your son in the army? Just noticed your profile pic.

Yes Sir. He just graduated Basic 7/17 he’s at Ft Hood for now waiting to go to S Korea in September

Wow. My son is taking his asvab in October.

Wish him the very best. Hopefully he does well. My son went for 18X SF. Barely made it through basic. It’s rough on them. He lost about a third of his body weight.

How do you let them go?

We wasn’t given a choice. He was determined and he was an adult. I wasn’t even aware until after he swore an oath.

Amazing.

DEF being “definetly everybody fucked” and not him misspelling “death” killed me 😂😂😂

Put a sign on back. “ Mobile Crematorium “ Maybe, that’ll provoke some thought 🤔

It means this can happen

I hauled gas, diesel, J1, and tar for a few years back when. I can tell you, NO ONE pays ANY attention to those placards....except maybe the first responders that think they can put it out.

These are actually good public service announcements. It’s the type of practical information that most of us were never taught.

The only time I’ve ever seen the motoring public respect any hazmat placard is when I’ve had radioactive placards It’s almost comical the amount of room they’ll give you when you have class 7 placards

Stay far away from the dangerous vehicles also.

It’s bad enough we carry about 150-300 gallons of diesel in our tanks. That is enough to take down a large building and a bunch of little ones. Now add 10,000 gallons more. 💀💀💀💀💀

Wise words from a wise man.

i haul fuel. this dude is a real as fuck.

🤝 same.

He's not lying...

We hauled crap that was oxidizer with subsidiary flammable. Hauled a lot of Corrosive 1830 (93% sulfuric acid). Had hoses hooked up once (1830 corrosive ) and was ready to open the ball valve and the hose split right in front of me. Damned lucky on that one.

Hes right on the money. I hauled fuel for 20 of my 40 years driving a truck.

If I see a tanker truck, I try to get away from it as quickly as possible lol ESPECIALLY if I'm seeing some dumbass driving crazy. I'm like, do you not realize what this is?!?

I say this every single time i leave the rack. Do not cut me off. That space i leave is for your safety not just mine

Mine is 1824. Go ahead get under that trailer. We won’t go boom. But within a few moments of that liquid being on your body, you’ll wish it had.

50 years of driving , an without even thinking about it , ive always given those signs respect

This is what can happen when a fuel tanker flips. This happened on the 99 in Atwater CA...

There are worse placards that worry me more than that one.

DEF. Definitely Everybody Fucked. I’ll be using that.

No lies detected.

I saw this documentary when the guy follows behind a leaking one and gains superpowers, so now I just follow behind them close and hope.

@annieoakley_69 I watched this with no sound. I like this guy. Just a thought for all drivers, give semi’s and box trucks a little more room. They are big vehicles and can’t always avoid you if you cut them off.

The DMVs & driver's ed don't emphasize how to drive around semi trucks especially with warning signs and motorcycles enough. We have a lot of logging trucks around my area and even the kids know how to drive around them but I see out of state morons acting like fools around them.

D.E.F😂

Hes not wrong. I stay away from corrosives too. 😬 and they dont pay the people who haul that stuff enough. Especially with the way people drive now.

Truth

Summarized all of HazMat/HazWOPER in a minute and a half

YUP, I make sure to keep a big distance. I've seen videos of these things skidding on the freeway and go up in a massive fireball. Not pretty! Some teenagers cut these things up and I'm just like "holy shit"

He's right, however, I also encountered an absolute retard driving one at 90+ mph while also swerving through traffic.

I mean death will still take them home 😭

😂

Thank you sir for the excellent public service announcement, thank you. We need all of the wannabe race car drivers to pay attention.
