This is too much. This is literally torture. Lifetime imprisonment should be the least severe punishment with a swift death sentence being the most. Continuing like this will offer no comfort in the long run for the victim’s family.

Actually solitary confinement in a sealed cell with nothing available but a slot for food. No contact whatsoever with anyone else. It shouldn't be long before the prisoner goes insane.

This is why I’m against the mode of executions that don’t cause instant death. Sadism is evil even for justice. Some ppl are just so dangerous they need execution but it should be instant and painless
