this is a cute short but whenever i'm rewatching these i'm so weirded out by being reminded cardin exists. a lot of chibi characters don't really exist in rwby proper anymore but he's so "volume 1-y" that it's like, wow, this used to be a series where you needed a cardin. weird.

I remember watching this for the first time and saw Velvet sad sitting by the curb and the piano cued in, I immediately was all “AWW, WHO HURT THE BUNNY” Then immediately the rest of the episode became my favorite of all time.
