"wet" implies the object was DRY to begin with... water is perpetually NEVER dry... so how can it be or get "wet"? its what MAKES "wet" the ocean floor is wet.. a cup gets wet paper gets wet... but water is the thing that MAKES OTHER THINGS WET. water MAKES DRY THINGS wet. .water does not wet.. other wet things.. only way this could work is if we go molecular but then once the molecules are seperated its no longer water.. its a gas called H2..
