what makes me even more upset is thinking about how vintage gowns like those were once someone’s art. but they’re gone and they can never make another one again, while people have no problem completely gutting the remnants of their works. not only tasteless, but so disrespectful

stop :(( like this could have been a gorgeous family heirloom, passed down for generations to appreciate it’s beauty. and it was destroyed to make a basic, forgettable dress that doesn’t even look very well made.
