ROSALÍA talks about what it was like to learn 13 languages to sing the songs on her new album “LUX”. “I speak a little Catalan because it’s my mother tongue. I speak a little Spanish and barely any English, but, you know… I love learning. I love learning things. So I wanted to learn different languages for a long time. I’ve been practicing on Duolingo, you know. But sometimes I’m like, ‘I need to do more.’ So while I was trying to figure out what the concept would be, because I was curious about learning from other cultures and how spirituality can be understood in many different places around the world in different ways, I was learning about different saints from all over the world. And I was reading, reading, reading so many hagiographies, hagiographies. Then I thought, ‘OK, let me put a map on the wall.’ Let me pin different stories, different women from around the world. And if I was making a song inspired by Joan of Arc, then I would do it in French. So depending on the story I wanted to reference, I would use one language or another. And then I would write about 20 different verse options and send them to a translator, a proper translator, get them back, tweak things, record, and then send them to people who would correct the pronunciation, all of it.”

But I know I had an interpreter recently that wasn't good, talking to a very strong person from a different part of the world. And I could tell, even though I-- even though I don't speak the language, I could tell the interpreter was not good. But if the interpreter is speaking right or is weak or is ineffective or not good or not interpreting your words correctly, um, in one case we had an interpreter who once you disagreed with what we were saying, you actually changed it. We considered her a foreign minister, right? But what no, the interpreter is-- I talk about it all the time. Interpreters are really important. When you don't speak the language, they don't speak the language. It's you people have no idea. People have no idea how valuable. And I'm on them all the time. I need to get better at english (laughs) at least to the point where I can make small talk or chat casually, I think that would be a breakthrough, but english is so hard😂😆 👤: duolingo 😂 🐰: from duolingo to malhaeboka, i think I’ve tried every single english-learning app out there, but the most important thing is to stick with it! 👤: everyone says, I agree, that even if you don’t feel comfortable speaking, your pronunciation in singing is very very good 🐰: that’s… i’m glad there’s that at least☺️ 👤: is that something you would do it just syllable by syllable or is it just your ear is good for that or? 🐰: yeah I think my ear is good for that kind of thing but at the end of the day, it’s not korean, it’s a foreign language for me and I don’t want native speakers to hear me speak their language and find it uncomfortable or dislike it in anyway, so I’ve personally worked very hard on it☺️

I think the show itself is better. I think there's something in this that allows me to like stay in my life while I'm doing it and therefore I think allows me to take care of myself better, which I think makes me better at doing the thing. It's not like I'm saying I'll never travel again, but I want to see what it looks like if you do it a different way. And you know, people in my band have like families now and kids and some aspect of that, too. It's really important to me that they're on the road that I would love to like have them and I don't want to make it like near impossible for them to be able to do that with me.”

Qullamaggie shows His First Run to 100k "Interested in the first run up to 200k,? No, to 100k. Want to see how large your spurts were? OK. So, let's see here. Yeah, it's kind of hard to see. But yeah, I went from about 43,000 to 100,000 in just three months, I think. Yeah, that was in a straight line. I went in a straight line to 135,000. So, I pretty much quadrupled my account. No, tripled my accounts in about three months back in early 2014. And then I shorted PLUG. And I kind of lost... That was my biggest loss back then. I think I lost like 35,000, 40,000. I'm gonna show you guys where I lost. That was my first big loss that I remember. I felt really shitty about it. I'm gonna move it. On this day here, or was... Yeah, on this day here, March 10, 2014. I think I lost about 30% of my account or 25% of my account shorting this thing. Then it crashed. I don't think I made many money that day. I don't think I had borrows or... There was something. But I do remember on this day here... These two days when it stopped bounce about 50% in two sessions. I made most of that big loss back. And after that, it was pretty much straight up again. As you can see on the chart, it's pretty much straight up. And the next big loss came back in October 2014 where I lost, I think I lost 50% of my money that day. Or close to. No, wait, I think it was... Anyway, I think it was 30 or 40% or something. I don't remember. Yeah, it's kind of hard to see. Yeah, up to 100k, 43k to 100k was pretty smooth. But yeah, I don't have the data. You know, the data from 2011, 2012 and 2013. Like back in 2011 and 2012, I blew up like three or four times. Unfortunately, I don't have the data for it. I would only blame myself if someone kept taking food off of my plate and eating it. It’s because I didn’t set clear boundaries at all. To be honest I couldn’t even be mad about this because it would be my fault this even happened. But you know very well I’m going to learn my lesson. She obviously is very comfortable doing this, he doesn’t seem to be firm about not letting her do it, the only one he can be mad at is himself. I think he will think twice about continuing to let her get away with it. Years ago, my brother used to do this to me and when I confronted him he laughed but he never stopped doing it, it got old really quick, I was annoyed because it felt like a bullying tactic. It got to the point one day that i had had enough, I made my plate and I dumped a bunch of salt into it knowing he was going to try to eat my food. After one bite he spit it out and he learned his lesson. He never did it again. But he still got mad I did it. Personally I think he was more mad he got caught if anything. I think a simple solution is to double order, that way if someone eats all my food I still have a back up, that could work right? But a part of me feels like that shouldn’t even be necessary. What would you do if someone kept eating off your plate? Would you put your foot down or just stay silent in hopes they don’t do it again. I think I am going to start just smoking more meat on the grill and keeping that up. I always make so much and if people wanna have some I still have plenty.

"honestly, i don't think i'm very good at letting (my characters) go. once i take on a project, i end up doing it for about 8 to 10 months, and i feel like my way of speaking and habits from that time remain a bit. so even after a project wraps up, that character actually stays with me for a while. but when that happens, i try as much as possible not to do the things that the character used to do for 8 months. for example like a certain posture or things like that. and then i cut my hair from when i played that character to try and see a different image of myself too. but honestly, even if i cut my hair, that character doesn't really go away. so for me, honestly, rather than saying 'i'm letting them go', i just always cherish them and no matter what project i do in the future, i feel like there will still be moments where i think of that character. since i consider (those) moments to be a part of who i am too, i actually really like seeing those moments keep piling up within me."

Inspired talking about Skewmond and" the best jungler in the west" debate Q: Everyone was talking a lot of Skewmond, and I would like to know about: do you believe like the series put an end to any debate about the best jungler in the West? Inspired: To me, there was never a debate. I knew that I’m always the best, but I think Skewmond is a good player. I wouldn’t say that he had any phenomenal series, though, this tournament. I think he, against T1, he still made a lot of mistakes. When he was stronger, he didn’t really try to fight enemies, and or sometimes just over committed a bit, and I think G2 won against T1 just by waiting for T1 to make mistakes. I think today, I think Skewmond played well in the team fights. I think every time he was on my screen and we’re like skirmishing and team fighting, I think he did a good job. But I think just like team wise, and like how they all played together as a team and use their jungler was wrong. And it’s hard to say, as I always said, that don’t really know who’s there like which jungler is good because you don’t really know what was his idea beyond the game plan, what his teammates wanted to do. But it just seems like they were not connected well enough, and on top of that, as I said, I think the drafts were not that great. So yeah, I think he’s a good player, but I think they need to work more on team synergy in order to actually pressure when they’re strong if they want to be like the best in the world, because I think they definitely can, but need to work a bit more. 🤡 : I can't believe there are so many international fans. It's almost half of this venue are international fans. I feel like... I really need to learn the language, right? I mean, I can listen and understand a little bit but it’s difficult for me to communicate. To be honest, I'm really thinking seriously about this. I want to study more and want to be able to talk to everyone more. It’s feels like the words are alr in my head, things i want to talk about but idk what should i say? Something like that ☃️ : So is there anything you want to tell everyone? i will translate it. 🤡 : Well, uhm. I want to tell everyone who came today, thank you very, very, very much. Really, really, very much. This is a big surprise for me cuz I don't think you'd believe me. I was sleeping in the van, wondering if someone will come to see us today. I'm sleepy, but I'm just afraid that no one will come to see us. I tried to peek a lil, if there just few of you, it think that’s ok ☃️ : i’m still very happy even if just a few of you want to see us here. I'm so glad to see everyone here today. Some came from far away, some of you should sat right on the plane, I saw that many of you made an effort to come to us. Even just a moment, only for thirty seconds. Some people come but didn’t get fansign, but you alr try to come to see us. That's good. I'm happy. It's also something new for me 🤡 : Don't be afraid, but when you talk about it like this, I don't know if the international fans will understand what I say.
