I think it's even better when the voice lines are directed against the enemy character. Ragna vs Hazama in the English VO of Chronophantasma is perfect. There is so much raw hatred in the deliveries. Music muted to make the vocal performances stand out better.

People seem to like it when I post my busted ass shit - so here is a not even prototype level of work on a game I just started a little over 4 weeks ago. Buddy Cops for the NeoGeo (to start). A spin off of Deathwish Enforcers SE - set in the 80s. It's right down the middle of Sunset Riders and Rolling Thunder gameplay wise. Went with the smaller sprites so my bosses look even bigger when I get there! There is even going to be a bit of Elevator Action Returns style stuff. It'll probably be more over the top than Deathwish Enforcers was. If I can't put my sense of humor into a game I'm designing then what's the fucking point of making it? ;) Nothing you see in this video is even remotely finished. It's just started. It's buggy, it's missing a lot of art and objects. In a couple more weeks it'll look much better. The music is from Deathwish Enforcers jungle level (because I like it a lot). Music will be the last thing I do for the demo. But I can't stand the silence when I'm testing :) Back to WIP for me :) -Daddy
