“I think it’s important that we have diversity, equity, and inclusion in our state and that’s why I think it’s important that we’re going to have a governor and a senator who are Auburn fans.”

Funny joke. And by diversity he’s really talking about supporting a homicidal clown

Is it true that as Governor,Tommy would funnel more money to Auburn &less to Alabama so Auburn would be better than Alabama in football basketball and other sports including academics. Alabama fans would be foolish to vote for him as Governor &have Alabama start to lose to Auburn

Jeffries: Diversity, equity and inclusion are American values. Perhaps I can explain. The motto of the United States of America is e pluribus unum. Out of many, one. That’s diversity. The 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution—one of the most influential important amendments in our country—provides equal protection under the law. That’s equity. In this country, we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. A flag that we just presented to the new President and Vice President. And in that pledge, we promise, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. A-L-L. That’s inclusion. Not complicated. Diversity, equity and inclusion are American values. It’s about economic opportunity. It’s about merit for everyone, based on what you know, not who you know.

Trump on why it’s important for him to have his name the Kennedy Center: For me to go and fix it and subsidize it, I think the Trump Administration should have recognition. If we don’t do that, it’s going to close and get ripped down.

Trump: Venezuela—we’re taking millions of barrels of oil. It’s going to Houston. They’re making more money than they ever have before and we’re making a lot and I think we’re entitled to that.

Slotkin: But I think, frankly, for the state of Michigan, people want to see a Jewish woman and a Muslim man being able to get along, debate, push and pull on each other, and move the state forward. I think it’s good for Michigan. I think it’s good for the country to see that. El-Sayed: I’ll tell you that the thing that neither Senator Slotkin nor I will ever budge on is that you ought to be safe in your place of worship, whether you are Jewish or Muslim or Christian or Hindu or you’re Sikh. And we all believe that this is a place that is better because of our diversity, and we want to fight to protect that.

Trump: I had the most successful four year period in the history of this country. I think we’re going to blow it away this time…. But there is a little bit of a transition. And we’re going to have that transition. And it’s not much of a transition.

Friends! The Kittens have turned our lives a little bit upside down, but I had to step up and help them. It’s been so important that Baby Dog and I show them lots of love, patience and kindness, so that they learn what’s important in life. And I think it’s working, because all 3 of them are full of love ❤️ #catsofX

Walz: I think they hate public education because it’s easier to run an authoritarian government if you don’t have a population that knows. I think it’s appealing to people’s sense of decency— I should be careful on that. I thought a message that we should value all people and we should have an immigration policy that adheres to the law and adheres to humanity and they talked about dogs and cats and they won.

PabloReports: Are you going to be signing onto the new Epstein Files Transparency Act? Magaziner: I just did. It’s important to send a message that this country should not have two sets of rules, one for the rich and powerful and one for everybody else. Under the Trump administration, the rich and powerful think that they don’t have to follow the law. We have to send a message that there will be accountability.

Tapper: Chuck Schumer just said that he's going to vote for cloture. AOC: I think that that would be a mistake. But we have we have time between now and tomorrow, and I hope that individuals that are considering that reconsider it, I genuinely do. I don't think it's what New Yorkers want. I don't think it's what the country wants

my two favorite people saying the same thing “just give it a try” 🥹 🦌: the most important thing is to just give it a try. i think the idea of taking that first step is one of the most important things in life 🦮: moments when we have to make big decisions can be scary, and i think that's completely normal. but the fact that something feels scary also means it’s a very important opportunity. that’s why i think it’s important to really think about what you want and then just give it a try. because if you don’t try, you’ll definitely regret it later on

James: It’s unfortunate that the president is weaponizing the federal government, particularly the DOJ. It’s also unfortunate that Pam Bondi seems to believe that the DOJ is the personal attorney for the President of the United States, rather than serving the interests of America, the rule of law, and our democracy. That’s what’s truly unfortunate. It’s also unfortunate that we no longer have an independent DOJ, and that now it’s up to Democratic attorneys general, who are standing up to ensure that our liberties, our freedoms, and our democracy are protected, and that our systems and institutions are respected. That’s what we do, and that’s why we’re here.
