Summertide should be banned completely in Kenya. How can our young people openly engage in sexual acts in public spaces, and nobody is talking about it? If I keep quiet, who will expose this moral decay in our society? We must protect the younger generation. To all parents, before you send money to your sons and daughters, especially this weekend, make sure you know where they are and what activities they are participating in. The videos circulating online from Malindi are deeply disturbing. If they are authentic, they appear to show young men and women engaging in unprotected sexual activity in public, with some scenes suggesting one young woman involved with multiple men. Such reports should be investigated by the relevant authorities. As a society, we cannot remain silent. We all have a responsibility to protect our children, uphold public decency, and promote values that safeguard the health, dignity, and future of our young people.

I just have more knowledge now of how I would have handled the circumstance five years ago if I were in the same body and mindset I’m in now. As far as regrets, I think we can always, always, always do better—but without doing things the way we do them, we don’t learn how to do those things better. There are definitely certain things in life that you should be very, very sorry for—we all have them—but we learn from them. If you don’t learn from it, then you’ll probably repeat it.”

I don't know what Ramp will look like exactly in 100 years but I think just as it was true 100 years ago people always wanted more out of every dollar and more out of every hour, I think people will absolutely still want that in 100 years —in whatever form that may take.”

One of the strangest ideas in modern culture is that young people need fewer rules precisely when they need them most. Even within an individual's lifespan, impulse control is at its lowest during adolescence. It's not easy to consistently make good decisions when you're a teenager or in your early twenties. That's why structure matters. Whether it comes from parents, mentors, social institutions, or cultural norms, external guidance can help young people make better choices. This is especially important when you're young and impressionable, surrounded by temptations, and trying to navigate competing priorities. At that stage of life, good judgment is still developing, so having supportive structures in place can make a significant difference.
