The Torrington base attack sequence is great because not only do we get to see all those old and sometimes obscure designs in action, but also how quickly they crumble once the Feds get off the back foot. “It’s a walking war museum out there!” Indeed.

It’s scenes like this that make me realize that maybe being a mecha pilot *wouldn’t* be so cool lol

Lmao in what gundam season is it not the zeon/space forces literally running a "surprise motherfucker!" Op on an earth forces base and dunking on them hard.

Honestly it's kinda frustrating because Zeon faces literally zero casualties, except maybe towards the end but the clip ends before it confirms it.

I love seeing how the overly specialized Zeon mechs like the Z Gok that seemed silly in the original series are actually kinda terrifying and surprisingly effective.

If I had a nickel for every time, Torrington base was attacked by Zeon I would have two nickels which isn’t a lot, but it’s strange that it happened twice

This was just massive fan service, so many of those suits are considered ancient with alot of lore behind this attack including side stories of multiple pilots from the efreet to the Byarlant custom.
