I think Paradise deserves a much deeper fandom conversation. We talk about it as the song that says “it’s okay to have no dream,” but it goes further than that. It questions why we’ve been taught that our lives need to have one grand purpose to be meaningful. Sometimes... show more

This conversation between Spo and Giannis 🔥 Spo: We need this shift too. We’ve been under the radar for four years. We’ve had huge expectations but it’s all been internal. There’s been no pressure. If we lose it’s okay. Giannis: You have to feel like your life is dependent on this sh*t. You are going to do everything possible to win. I haven’t had that feeling in a long time and now I have it. I’m happy I’m having this feeling (Via Giannis Antetokounmpo YT)

Joe Mazzulla says his goal as Celtics coach is to be forgotten “If the people around you didn’t do what they do… I wouldn’t do anything. The thing I reflect on the most is… I think you have to be willing to be forgotten. I think that’s kind of my main goal.” “I want to be forgotten about. Because that means after you… It was better. I think that’s what it means to be a Celtic. However long you play, coach, work for the Celtics…” “Your job is to keep it exactly where it’s at or bring it better. You cannot bring it down. If you leave and it gets worse, that’s your fault. If you leave and they win, and they forgot about you, you did your job.” “I talk about that every day with the staff. Our job is to one day be forgotten about because you did your job. It became about something bigger than you.” “It’s a burden and a love for being with the Celtics… But it’s a responsibility. I think we could take that into our daily life. Can I leave it so much better that they don’t remember me because the next person came and was better?”

“Don’t die with your music still in you.” Wayne Dyer believed that every single one of us arrives here with a purpose. A calling. A dream that keeps tugging at our hearts. Maybe for you, it’s the book you’ve been wanting to write. But fear, doubt, perfectionism, or not knowing where to begin can make it easy to keep putting that dream off for “someday.” Your voice matters. Your story matters. And that idea inside you? It’s there for a reason. You don’t need to know exactly how to write a book. You just need to be willing to listen to that quiet inner voice telling you it’s time. Whatever your “music” is… don’t leave this world without sharing it. ✨🙌🏾💫

🚨 NEW: Fox’s Tyrus CALLS OUT Democratic socialism: “The American dream is hard but it’s obtainable and you have to do the work. You have to roll your sleeves up and sacrifice.” But with socialism “it’s ‘why do I have to do that when I can just take it from them?’” “There’s this illusion that quality of life is more important than work ethic. ‘I want it now’ and one group’s telling them ‘You don’t have to be educated, all you have to do is blame everything on somebody else and they’ll support you.’ It’s ‘Why should I work when you’re saying I don’t have to!’ There are more people willing to take a free lunch than go out and build the sandwich,” adds Tyrus.

🗣️ Mikel Arteta on people forgetting the quality Arsenal already have: “That’s human nature, I think. When you talk to people and ask them, ‘What is on your bucket list?’ people write a lot about the bucket list. “And sometimes we forget the reverse bucket list, which is the things that you already have in your life that are incredible. “But you put so much emphasis on the next thing that nothing seems to be enough. It happens in life, and I think it’s very important to value what you have. “That’s what I said about the squad and how much I love our players. I really value what we have and what we have created together. “And then ambition is great. Let’s always have the ambition to be better, especially to evolve the players and the things that we already have within the club. “But let’s not lose perspective of what we already have, which is amazing, and we are very lucky to have them.”

On a previous #TeawithGaryVee I was asked "I know how much I know that you talk about how much your mother's support meant to you. If you could envision that your mom had been strongly opposed to you starting your own company, your adventures, what would what would you have done to overcome that?" if you have a question for me, drop it here so my team can add it to the next Rapid Fire Q&A and follow me on

Pete Carroll says winning championships was never actually the point “It isn’t about winning the championship. It’s not about that. As soon as you win it, it’s over with. It’s in your back pocket. You’ve already done that.” “That’s not the motivator. The motivator is to be the best you can possibly be. That’s ongoing. It never ends. I’m not a big goals guy.” “Goals, you achieve them. To me, I want ongoing, never-ending aspirations of being great at what you’re doing. There is no one game that is the only game. There is no one accomplishment that’s the only accomplishment.” “Can you come back again? Is that really who you are? Is that worth fighting for?” “Can you be true to yourself? Can you really be yourself under all circumstances? No matter what happens, when you get your ass whipped in the freaking Super Bowl, when you had two in a row and you’re two seconds from doing it again, can you come back after that moment and still be who you are?” “That was what the challenge was to me. As hard as that looked, as hard as it felt, and as hard as it was on all the people around me, I took it like this: ‘Okay, you knew this was going to happen sometime.’ ‘Are you going to be the real deal or not?’”

We all have dreams and aspirations, but it’s important to have a VISION that goes beyond your personal goals. It’s not just about setting goals, but it’s about having a purpose that’s bigger than yourself. it’s about making a difference in your family, community, nation and leaving a legacy. How do we develop a vision for our lives? It starts with prayer and seeking God’s guidance. We also need to take action and be willing to step out in faith. Lastly, we need to surround ourselves with people who support and encourage our vision. When we have a community of like-minded individuals, we can draw strength and inspiration from one another.

Mark Cuban says anyone can become a millionaire by following these 4 rules #1: “Find something you can be good at and then be great at it” #2: “You have to know how to sell. Whatever it is you’re good at, somebody’s gonna need that service, someone’s gonna need that product” “Whatever it is that you’re creating but you have to be able to sell because you don’t wanna be in a position where you’re dependent on other people” #3: “Be curious and always be learning because one thing that’s certain about business is that it changes every single day” #4: “When you have that knowledge and you have that ability to sell, when you know that when you walk into a room, you know your stuff better than anybody else in the room, that’s when it’s time to start a company” “Then you can start to control your own destiny”

You came to earth as a soul. That soul has a purpose. You may not remember what it is. But you can feel it. Every time something pulls you in a direction that makes no logical sense — that is your purpose calling. The schools blocked it. Your parents blocked it. Society blocked it. That was part of the plan. Because to truly fulfill your purpose you have to overcome something first. You are not here by accident. You are not here for no reason. You are exactly where you need to be. Trust your intuition. It knows why you are here even when you don't.

AOC: “We are taught to bargain down what is possible for our lives. We’ve been taught to lower our expectations for things that a generation ago were afforded to every American. It didn’t feel like the fantasy that it sometimes feels today 30-40 years ago. To be able to have one job, support your family, go on that vacation, and put some money in your pocket. But slowly over decades there been so much work to get the aspirations of working people smaller and smaller. And to see how little we are willing to accept. And this year, this time, this moment today is the moment we draw the line in the sand and say enough”

“There are some people who misunderstand democracy. We have our own way of understanding it, based on the results of our uniqueness, and the work that needs to be done to transform our lives as Rwandans. Democracy means choosing what is right for you, what you want; and having freedom in that choice. Democracy is not about people choosing on your behalf, no one should decide for you. You have to make your own choices. That is how it should be understood everywhere including where it supposedly originates from. For those who claim to be the creators of democracy, no one chooses for them. That is why they have no right to decide for others. Our choices are a result of our unique context, the uniqueness of our challenges, of our country.” Chairman Kagame | RPF Presidential Campaign - Musanze District

“I’m not convinced Tonto Dikeh has changed. I feel it’s more of m3nt@1 problem that people are not seeing. Why would you be cleaning the church and you are telling someone to video you and post it? It’s unnecessary clout and attention. If you have changed, your actions would tell. You don’t need to get somebody to be recording your changed action.” — Man says.
