Bret Weinstein on Alex Pretti's Reckless Gun Behavior "I want people not to focus so much on the details of the firearm as the analysis from the perspective of somebody who has been involved in these discussions about how how to think about firearms and behavior in a safe way. There are numerous things here, which I would say he is legally entitled to do, but I would regard as reckless and I don't mean legally reckless, I mean reckless in the common parlance sense of the term. He's carrying a loaded firearm into a zone of conflict with armed federal officers. I wouldn't do that. If I was... let's say that's not a decision he made, maybe he happened there by accident and somehow was not focused on the fact that "hey I need to be extra careful and not go this direction, because I'm armed and it could get bad," but then he steps in as the officer is behaving, I think in an illegitimate way towards this woman. Right, this officer shoves this woman to the ground and Pretti steps in. I would argue that's reckless if you're armed the way he is because of exactly the sort of thing that unfolds. I don't know that he had one in the chamber, because I don't know that his gun went off, but if the gun went off it says he had one in the chamber and I would say wow, that's really reckless especially with that gun."

"I think that he don't care what nobody thinks, I think as long as he's happy w/ himself, not saying he don't pay attention to what his fans are saying but I think it comes from within, before he can make anyone else happy, he has to make himself happy. If he's happy w/ his decision and then you're one of his fans and don't agree w/ his decision that's on you."

According to the Howden Injury Index, under 21 players have consistently recorded the most severe injuries in recent seasons - meaning they spend more time sidelined per injury than any other age group. In the Premier League specifically, the average time missed per injury for under 21s has risen by around 187% compared to three years earlier. The report suggests this is as a result of increased physical demands on players. With 19 year old Jayden Danns’ issues with stress fractures as a perfect example, Liverpool have adjusted how they’re handling other promising younger players like Rio Ngumoha. Slot explained that this includes giving Rio two off pitch days per week to help manage his overall load - reducing cumulative demands while still allowing him to adapt and develop physically. Might explain why we haven’t seen more of the 17 year old, despite how promising he has looked. Jalen Suggs immediately went over to Hukporti, patted him on the back, and let him know there was no ill intent. Just basketball. 4. If the play were actually reckless, the Magic, one of the most physical teams in the league, would’ve responded accordingly. They didn’t. 5. Orlando’s coach, Jamahl Mosley, didn’t criticize the refs to “protect his player,” because there was nothing reckless to protect him from. 6. In his postgame comments, Mosley didn’t label the foul as dirty, reckless, or flagrant. So the only group insisting this was a dirty play seems to be emotional Magic fans reacting to a scary injury, which is understandable, but the claim that Hukporti acted with malicious intent has no real basis. If you look at the words I used on Sunday, they were/are factually true... even confirmed by Tudor today in the press conference: "It was an instruction to the team. We want to go up and press high. But in this moment it is too much for them." Tudor also added: "It was for all the defence to go up!" Journalist George Sessions when asking the question said some fans didn’t even watch the clip and they just saw the "headline" and caption "Micky ignored instructions" - the headlines that so many people created - there were absolutely NO HEADLINES from me, I just posted what I saw and WROTE FACTS - which Tudor has confirmed. As per usual, thousands of people, including many media outlets use my content, without permission, and add their narrative, headlines, stories and opinions - none of this came from me, I very much stuck to the facts and was fascinated by Tudor talking to his team throughout trying to give them instructions. Many media outlets requested to use the footage on certain pages and I refused every request, some used it anyway and added some ridiculous headings to create a narrative about Tottenham, Tudor and Micky van de Ven. There is no oneupmanship here, there is no joke, and this is not about who has the most experience. This is simple common sense dialogue around the safety of playing the game of tackle football. The game is dangerous enough as is without promoting dangerous and illegal techniques. The attached video shares 4 examples of catastrophic outcomes that happened in actual NFL games by players who lowered the crown of their helmets exactly in the manner we have seen Booker do now on repeat occasions. There aren’t enough “my bads” in the world to make up for Booker himself, or someone he tackles suffering the same fate as the players in this video if his technique doesn’t get corrected! I hope at some point with the platform JJ Watt has and those who’ll absorb his word as gospel that he clarifies the statement he shared regarding this technique, because I promise you that his message isn’t in any way responsible as it is currently delivered! #FootballIsDangerousEnoughAsIs
