@Espngreeny Even if the Vikings bring Darnold back, there is zero incentive to trade McCarthy. The national media keeps spouting the narrative that Darnold is going to revert back to NY Sam, so why wouldn't you keep McCarthy as an insurance policy against that, or against injury?

@Espngreeny Why does ESPN and the national sports media keep doing this? They made up stories about Jefferson getting traded. They made up stories about KOC getting traded and now they are pushing this. I swear they do this the smaller market teams all the time.

@Espngreeny The Vikings are moving on from Sam and elevating JJ to starter with Daniel Jones backing him. Financially this has always been the plan and there is no reason to deviate. Plus, KO loves JJ ever chance he gets to speak about him. He’s put in tons of work developing him thus far.
